Jim Jordan: DOJ IG report shows Comey's hatred of Trump got Robert Mueller appointed
Fox News ^ | Aug. 29, 2019 | Charles Creitz

The Justice Department inspector general's report shows ex-FBI Director James Comey is to blame for the country having to deal with Special Counsel Robert Mueller's investigation, according to Rep. Jim Jordan, R-Ohio.

Comey also proved there are two sets of rules -- one for bureaucrats and one for the American people, Jordan claimed Thursday on Fox News Radio's "The Todd Starnes Show."

"Comey broke the rules, plain and simple," the lawmaker said. "It sort of gets to this thing we've talked about before -- Americans are so sick of the double standard -- one set of rules for you and I, Todd, and the folks I get the privilege of representing -- but a different set if your name is Clinton, Comey, Lerner, Lynch, then you get a different set of rules."

"James Comey and his cabal at the top of the FBI... had this extreme bias against the president," Jordan added.

In Comey’s mind it’s all justified “Trump hate.” He would do it again. Heck, he’s still doing it. No crime to hate the President, but there may be a crime in abusing the DOJ as a political weapon.

Comey compares himself to Martin Luther King, Jr and even Jesus. In his mind, he is a hero, a savior. He is going to take down the threat of President Donald J Trump.
Delusional

I’m guessing it has been made known in the swamp, that whoever takes down the President will be made very wealthy.

There seems to have been a competition since day 1.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
You would think, but apparently not if in service to the Kenyanesian Usurpation.
Same with the IRS.
And DOJ running guns to cartels.
Sending planeloads of cash to the Mullahs.
If I had read the past ten years as a novel, I wouldn’t have believed it possible.
Note: There is not one word in this report about Comey meeting with Obama, Biden, Rice, Brennan and Clapper the day before to hatch this scheme.
Exactly. Yet again we see an non investigation of Team Kenya. What a curious pattern that occurs over and over the past three years. It’s the Mueller Report all over again. Did the DOJ lawyers have a hand in both?
If Bagpipe Bill was serious about this investigation he would have rejected the report as incomplete based on this alone and returned it to the IG. That he did not is quite telling.
What legal statutes are in place to prosecute? We can armchair the word “treason” all day long, but if there is no law prohibiting a zealous partisan from manipulating the machinery of justice, we’re just pissing in the wind. No one has answered me when I’ve requested statute that applies here. No one. If the law ain’t there, then quit the bitchin’. If it is, then it will take a pricipled, brave, duly authorized, and powerful entity to execute what should have been done years ago.
RE: "(the game is rigged)"
It certainly is ...and get this - I've heard there are people who are billed as being really, really smart on TV who think there will actually be prosecutions for this failed attempt at taking over the government!
(I can't help but laugh and wonder why they get paid)
Can we the public file a Qui Tam Lawsuit against Comey on behalf of the US Government for the $30 million cost of the Mueller Report?
Qui Tam Action
: (kwee tam) n. from Latin for “who as well,” a lawsuit brought by a private citizen (popularly called a “whistle blower”) against a person or company who is believed to have violated the law in the performance of a contract with the government or in violation of a government regulation, when there is a statute which provides for a penalty for such violations.
Qui tam suits are brought for “the government as well as the plaintiff.” In a qui tam action the plaintiff (the person bringing the suit) will be entitled to a percentage of the recovery of the penalty (which may include large amounts for breach of contract) as a reward for exposing the wrongdoing and recovering funds for the government.
Sometimes the federal or state government will intervene and become a party to the suit in order to guarantee success and be part of any negotiations and conduct of the case.
This type of action is generally based on significant violations which involve fraudulent or criminal acts, and not technical violations and/or errors.
10% to 25% of the award goes to the person filing the suit.
The same law that was used against the KKK back in the sixties. And then many other cases since then. Conspiracy to violate the civil rights of that individual... president Trump. If you use tools of law enforcement for a private or political agenda, you’re violating the rights of the target of your investigation. It’s the same if the FBI does it to try to remove a president they don’t like. Or if a local police officer pulls over someone and arrested for DWI on a trumped-up charge because that’s the guy who stole his girlfriend.
Regular police officers have been prosecuted for this numerous times.
The law is there. Numerous law enforcement officers have been arrested, prosecuted, and served time in prison for violating somebody’s civil rights. Using powers of arrest and investigation solely to advance a personal agenda is a violation of that person’s civil rights.
For extra fun, the FBI is usually the agency that brings these charges. They know exactly that it’s illegal as hell. Legally, this is the same as planning a kilo of cocaine in the backseat of somebody’s car because you don’t like him personally. Then there’s a laundry list of perjury, sedition, attempted overthrow of the government, illegal wiretapping. There are plenty of laws to apply to Comey and his crew if anybody really wanted to.
I do not mean to be obtuse, and know what you mean. It is the specific statutes I would like to see. Even then, the law has no obligation to prosecute every violation.
This is old news. Comey admitted it before congress. He admitted it proudly. No one seemed to care.
They really need to hire a stone mason to chisel the words “Equal Justice Under The Law” from the entrance to the Supreme Court entrance. It no longer applies.
Really nuf said. Most of us was having a hard time finding a crime we could paste on Comey. Could find much of anything criminal. Just morally wrong to abuse the power he had. We did have a crime but Horowitz decided lying under oath just wasn't enough. Most tried to tell you Comey is free. Watch some of the same shi! when Barr releases.
I can believe it.
****************************
Same sh!t, different day.
Remember how Tim Geithner got a pass for committing perjury and filing fraudulent tax returns?
Remember how Katherine Sebelius got a “get-out-of-jail” card even though she filed incorrect tax returns? On purpose?
Yes. I know you remember.
So they each got that for which they were nominated plum job after paying a tiny fine.
And they were confirmed by the US Senate.
It would be hared to believe, if it didn’t happen like clockwork. Over, and over, and over.
And much of the government and 97% of the media say you and I are the problem. So they say they need to take our guns. And they want our own kids in gun-free zones every day, where they can be indoctrinated and brainwashed.
Each of us is responsible for our own selves and our families.
Please remember that.
As Ronald Reagan warned, “A government that is big enough to give you everything you want, is big enough to take everything you have.”
Family is just about the only thing most of us have that is even worth anything.
Remember where your treasure is.
