Former Clinton friend and advisor, Dick Morris suggested in February 2018 that the Steele dossier might have been made up by the Clintons and that Steele was only used to provide it some credibility: “The reason Hillary hired Fusion [GPS] is because she needed someone more credible than Sidney Blumenthal and Cody Shearer to float these charges,” Morris alleges. Just as the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee used intermediaries in financing the Steele dossier to keep its fingerprints off a document styled as intelligence and not opposition research, Shearer allegedly used the tactic of laundering to ensure that...

The move marks Elliott's second major splash in the world of books in the span of a year. Last June the New York-based hedge fund acquired Waterstones, which, with more than...

Tweets at link. Donald Trump Jr., President Trump's son, had a strong rebuke Friday for New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio after the 2020 presidential candidate called anti-Semitism a "right-wing movement." Trump Jr. called that "BS" and suggested it was hypocritical for a Democrat, whose party included Reps. Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., and Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., to describe a political movement as "anti-Semitic." "Yea all those right wingers like Rashida Tlaib and Ilhan Omar heading the Hamas Caucus in Congress," Trump Jr. said, referring to the Palestinian militant group that fires rockets into Israeli territory. "This rhetoric is not only...

On June 3rd the Society of St. Pius X published an interview of Bishop Bernard Fellay who, until last July, had served as its Superior General for twenty-four years. Before we take a look at some of his comments, I wish to say two things. First, Bishop Fellay occupies a special place in my heart and in my prayers. He played a key role in opening my eyes to tradition. I vividly recall back in my “conservative adolescence” (as I like to call it) watching one of Bishop Fellay’s conferences on the state of Rome and thinking, “This is how...

On 26 November 2018, a young Canadian mother and her 10-month-old child were killed by an adult male grizzly bear. It was a horrific tragedy. Two sides quickly emerged in the discussion that followed. One side suggested that the woman “got what she deserved” because she and her partner were trappers. The other side suggested she could have been saved if she had a gun to use for protection. Lost in the push from these sides were the suffering of the father, the young couple's friends, and the Yukon community they were part of. The coroner's report has now been...
