Christians face EXTINCTION in Iraq after ISIS forced 125,000 to flee their homes, Archbishop warns. Rt Rev Bashar Warda said Christian community has dwindled to just 125,000

Despite ISIS being expelled from Mosul in July 2017, many have not returned. Accused Christian leaders of being afraid of being accused of Islamophobia.

Christians are facing extinction in Iraq after ISIS forced 125,000 people to flee their homes, the Archbishop of Irbil has warned.

Rt Rev Bashar Warda said the Christian community had been reduced by 83% between the end of Saddam Hussein's regime and 2014.

It then dwindled further when the so-called Islamic State invaded the country,... 'Christianity in Iraq, one of the oldest Churches, if not the oldest Church in the world, is perilously close to extinction. Those of us who remain must be ready to face martyrdom.'

Although the jihadist group had been expelled from Mosul in July 2017, many Christians have not returned because their homes and churches were destroyed....

Warda also claimed that many fear speaking out about the persecution of Christians because they do not want to be accused of Islamophobia.

He accused Britain's Christian leaders of bowing to 'political correctness'.

Warda added: 'Friends, we may be facing our end in the land of our ancestors. We acknowledge this. In our end, the entire world faces a moment of truth.

'Will a peaceful and innocent people be allowed to be persecuted and eliminated because of their faith? And, for the sake of not wanting to speak the truth to the persecutors, will the world be complicit in our elimination?' ~snip~

Bishop of Truro, the Rt Rev Philip Mounstephen, agreed with Warda, saying 'political correctness' has stopped people speaking out, and that it may also have something to do with 'a reluctance borne of post-colonial guilt'.

There's no outrage or defense of these Christians and their ancestral homeland or The Church in Iraq.

All the while, Pope Frank is preoccupied rewriting the Word of God. His counterpart, head of the Orthodox Church, is also notably absent.

Nope. We win in the end.

Jesus will return with all those the muslims have martyred and they will have the satisfaction of seeing justice done.

Facts are facts. If it were not for the Russian intervention, there would be no Christians left in Syria and Iraq. Also make no mistake. ISIS was financed and made possible by the Saudis and the Turks. Obama, who famously bowed to the Saudi king, did nothing definitive to stop the genocide of Christians in Syria and Iraq in the areas controlled by ISIS. The “pope” is beyond being reprehensible.

This seems to be a USA game plan. Happened in the Balkans, too.

Do not expect the Pope to respond to this latest outrage. He's too busy washing the feet of Muslims.

Side question: I wonder what those Muslims are thinking. I'm voting for choice B below.

A. What a great man this Pope is! Let us all work towards a peaceful tomorrow.
B. What a fool this Pope is! Once we we establish Sharia Law, we'll toss him off a rooftop.

Bush, a fake Christian who is outed by his famous line:
“Christians and Muslims worship the same God!” is to blame for this genocide.

ISIS was helped by McCain/Obama and the Bushes laid the groundwork.

Never forget, the entire Bush family from Prescott on down pushed the african american “selling dead baby parts and baby blood” Planned Parenthood.

Bush funded Planned Parenthood for his entire eight years in office, and this included the time people have been selling dead baby parts and blood.

Karl Rove directed Planned Parenthood monies up until at least 2012, according to former Tea Party candidate Karen Handel.

The Bushes hate Christianity. Do your homework. The Iraq genocide of Christians started before Obama.

No flipping shit Sherlock! Any non-lunatic living in the midst of the religion of pieces at this point knows that escape is their only hope for survival. The Muslim world is in the midst of a complete meltdown that is coinciding with a meltdown of the Progressive Left in the West. Hang on folks. We're in for a bumpy ride!

Right, especially in regards to Syria. In a perfect world, the United States, Russia, and China would all be united in a grand alliance against radical Islam. But, no. Each of those nations would rather pick at the other two.

That’s not to say that each nation is equally guilty. But I am reminded of the days leading to the fall of Constantinople. The Western powers squabbled among themselves while the Muslims besieged, then captured, that great city.

We are allowing soft persecution here. Some Christians are participating in it right here in God Bless Amerca. It will not stay soft persecution for long. Esp with the current pope.

“All the while, Pope Frank is preoccupied”

I don’t like the current pope, but he’s not responsible for the war that brought chaos to Iraq, letting the jihadis loose to prey on the country’s ancient Christian community. It was George Bush who launched that war. He was warned it would lead to chaos, but he listened to his neocon advisors instead

Saddam was a tyrant, but as Trump says, “he killed a lot of terrorists”. By getting rid of him, we set the terrorists free

Warda also claimed that many fear speaking out about the persecution of Christians because they do not want to be accused of Islamophobia.

I have mentioned for quiet some time the goal of Islam which is to subjugate ,convert or kill anyone who is not a Muslim and the second problem us infidels have is the naïve Judeo/Christian beliefs that stop us from facing up to the Muslim problem.

As I say, Christians can do all the praying they want but the Muslims will also be preying as they have done for the last 1400 years. - Tom

The Bush family became incredibly wealthy in the oil business specifically dealing with the Saudis. 15/19 of the 9/11 terrorists were Saudi nationals and American intelligence soon learned that the plot was known to Saudi intelligence who never stopped it or warned the Americans. Bush never held the Saudis accountable. Instead he went out of his way claiming that “Islam was the religion of peace”. Ultimately he invaded Iraq and removed the Saudi regime’s most direct threat. Of course Bush senior stopped crazy Saddam Hussein before he invaded Saudi Arabia. In doing so he also protected his family’s source of wealth.

There is a joke perhaps with a grain of truth about the Saudi’s arrogance and duplicity. The Saudis were very upset that the Russians intervened in Syria and foiled their plans there. When the Russians hosted the Winter Olympics in 2014, the Saudi told Putin that unless he withdrew from Syria, they the Saudis could not guarantee that there would be no terrorist attacks at the Games. Putin reportedly responded by attending the games personally, he stationed three nuclear submarines off the coasts of Saudi Arabia and informed the Saudis if there were any attacks, he would not be invading Iraq. Say and think what you like about Putin but there were no terrorist attacks at those Olympic games.

“Nope. We win in the end.“

Fine, but the martyrdoms didn’t have to happen. Blame Bush and the neocons for taking a baseball bat to a hornets nest and freeing crazed jihadis to engage in mass killing

The Bushes became incredibly wealthy on Saudi oil deals because they understood, as Russia understands, that oil is a renewable resource (abiotic) that’s constantly being created in the earth, and they gamed the system with their Arab/Islamic oil friends.

Just wait long enough, and your depleted wells will replenish themselves. That’s the only guessing game... how long an oil well will take to “renew”.

Just another massive hoax by the satanic Elite.

(But as another poster on this thread reminds us, the Lord Jesus will win in the end, and His enemies will go mad in that instant before eternal hellfire.)

I try my best not to genuinely hate George W. Bush for his betrayals of the Christians in the Mid-East and his own country.

I try not to hate him, but it's so damn difficult.

He and Obama tie as Worst President of the past half century.
