National reactions to Alabama’s abortion law – a measure that essentially bars the practice in the state- continue. Alabama Gov. Kay Ivey signed the measure Wednesday, a day after it was approved by the Legislature. The law would make it a felony for a physician to perform, or attempt to perform, an abortion, with no exceptions for victims of rape or incest.
