Trump could end China’s economy by sanctioning its banks: Gordon Chang By Nick Giampia Published August 02, 2017 Asia FOXBusiness “Nuclear Showdown” author Gordon Chang on Wednesday said the Trump administration should put more sanctions on Chinese banks, in order to convince them to keep North Korea under control. “Once the president unplugs a big Chinese bank that’s all he needs to do because then Xi Jinping, the Chinese ruler, realizes he’s actually got to come to the party on trade, North Korea, South China Sea, you name it. Because putting Chinese banks into the tank, that’s the end of...

...SNIP... The results were based on a survey of more than 8,000 people conducted by 28 media organizations in the U.S. Participation was voluntary but respondents tended to reside near the news outlets that made the questionnaire available on their websites, and leaned toward the liberal side of the political spectrum. The survey also showed that politically liberal respondents were more trusting than conservatives, while Caucasians were more likely than non-whites to have confidence in the media.

That is exactly what's said to have happened in this shocking video. This video, shared on Facebook by Caliber Cache, has ignited some serious debate. While this shooter is engaging targets, his left cargo shorts pocket moves. What actually happened? Well, many comments on Facebook have been on the order of a ricochet hitting his pocket, which then set off the cartridge. Other comments suggest it indeed was a detonation that could have been caused by an e-cigarette or other loose items coming into contact with the primer. See the richochet in the pocket video here.

Male make-up counters could become a reality within five years, the UK boss of L'Oreal has said, as it is no longer a taboo for the "selfie generation". In an interview with the Daily Telegraph, Vismay Sharma, the cosmetics giant's UK managing director, said that demand for make-up among men was growing fast.

The following report is from Attorney Jeffrey Marty… Shortly after his appointment as Special Counsel to investigate Russia’s alleged interference into the 2016 presidential election, a former colleague characterized Robert Mueller as “ramrod straight” and “utterly incorruptible.” Similar language was breathlessly repeated in mainstream media outlets such as Politico, BBC, and Time magazine. Mueller’s Vietnam-era service in the United States Marine Corps and 2004 tag-team with then-Deputy Attorney General James Comey to (supposedly) save American democracy from warrantless spying are mainstays of these biographies, sending a clear message that his integrity is not to be questioned, that his dedication to...

Darren “Dutch” Daulton, the charismatic catcher and master of Macho Row, whose talent for controlling both a pitching staff and a clubhouse helped the 1993 Phillies win an improbable National League pennant, died Sunday at age 55 after a four-year battle with brain cancer. A three-time all-star, Mr. Daulton played 14 seasons for the Phillies organization, which drafted him in 1980. But he will be recalled longest and most fondly in Philadelphia for his role as the cleanup hitter and locker-room leader of the 1993 Phils. That wild and wildly popular team, with him supplying much of its power on...

Life is a wandering stream…and while a bend in the stream is not the end of the stream we never know for sure what is ahead.Sometimes we simply must stop and listen to our inner voice, hoping for a revelationbut settling instead for a moment of claritythat will guide us on the rest of our journey“The days are stacked against what we think we are.” ― Jim Harrison, The Road Homewherever that may take us. A 10-year-old girl who is pregnant and has been refused an abortion is at the centre of a media storm in India. The BBC's Geeta Pandey travelled to the northern city of Chandigarh to piece together her story. "We have seen lots of cases of teenage pregnancies involving 14 to 15-year-olds, but this is the first ever case that I have seen of a 10-year-old," said Mahavir Singh, of the Chandigarh State Legal Services Authority. Mr Singh has been involved in a case which has shocked Chandigarh and the rest of India, that of a 10-year-old girl who became pregnant...

A system of sorts has been perfected to destroy the most effective conservative spokesmen on the Fox News Channel, and it operated with stunning efficiency over the last few days. A marginal writer with a documented background as a high level political operative and fundraiser in left wing Democrat politics published an unsourced article at a far left Web site, HuffPost (formerly the Huffington Post). The article claimed that multiple anonymous sources supposedly confirmed to the writer that “several years ago” prominent Fox News channel (FNC) host and anchor Eric Bolling – who happens to be a strong supporter of...

On today’s Morning Joe, Joe Scarborough said that presidential counselor Kellyanne Conway is “so stupid” that it “makes my teeth hurt.” Scarborough, presumably seeking to cover his tracks, then revised his remark to say “not her, but the words that come out of her mouth,” a distinction with no real difference. Conway had noted the donations to Democrats including Hillary Clinton made by Robert Mueller and several lawyers he has appointed to his investigative team. View the video here.

If we didn’t have Democrats, we’d have to make them up. – Ok, I swear I didn’t make this up. It’s a real story. The far, far, far, far left wing of the far, far leftwing California Democratic Party is mounting a recall effort on their own Assembly Speaker because…wait for it…he isn’t far, far, far, far leftwing enough for them. Wait, you say, Speaker Anthony Rendon is as far, far, far leftwing as it gets, right? Well, no. See, he needed to add one more “far” to that total of “fars”, and ram through a completely unworkable proposal to...

The Young America’s Foundation conference in Washington DC played host to Brexit front man and former UKIP leader Nigel Farage last week. His speech has filled column inches and been dissected by news agencies on both sides of the debate; and he has cemented even further his reputation as a Statesmen, thinker, and political dynamo. Farage’s topics were wide and varied; he covered the Trump agenda, Hillary Clinton, what it means to be a Conservative, immigration and radical Islam. Each point made well and with a certain degree of flair. The runner up for Time’s Man of the Year (only...

Proverb 7 (NKJV) The Wiles of a Harlot 01 My son, keep my words, 00 And treasure my commands within you. 02 Keep my commands and live, 00 And my law as the apple of your eye. 03 Bind them on your fingers; 00 Write them on the tablet of your heart. 04 Say to wisdom, "You are my sister,"; 00 And call understanding your nearest kin, 05 That they may keep you from the immoral woman, 00 From the seductress who flatters with her words. The Crafty Harlot 06 For at the window of my house 00 I...

Conservative activist Matt Schlapp on Sunday said John Kelly’s changes as White House chief of staff “portend great things.” "He has got to get a hold of these agencies,” Schlapp, the chairman of the American Conservative Union, said during an appearance on ABC’s “This Week.” “They've got to understand that the West Wing has to work with the agencies to develop these policies. So I actually think the changes in the West Wing under General Kelly portend great things.” Schlapp predicted that Kelly in his new role can fix the challenges facing the Trump administration. “It was never set up...

Israel’s reformation came via a rediscovery of the law, which created a brief awakening to the bankruptcy of a corrupt nation. As a young man, King Josiah began the process of reformation with a spiritual purge, a cleansing of pagan elements from the religious life of the nation. A few years later, Hilkiah found the book of the law of the Lord given by Moses. A scribe brought the book to King Josiah and read it to him. The result was dramatic: “Now it happened, when the king heard the words of the Book of the Law, that he tore...

SAN JUAN, P.R. — Two young graduates from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology did the unthinkable last summer: They quit enviable jobs in New York and moved back to beleaguered Puerto Rico, bringing their plan for a start-up with them. “People were like: ‘Are you crazy? Why would you ever do that? Go back way later; you’re basically going into a hellhole right now,’” said one of the graduates, Eric Crespo, 25, who helped create Lunchera, a fast-growing online food delivery and logistics company in Puerto Rico. As the tide of Puerto Ricans leaving the island continues unabated, Mr. Crespo...

George Will’s column, “Feeble president is good for nation,” makes some striking assertions. “Trump is something the nation did not know it needed—a feeble president whose manner can cure the nation’s excessive fixation with the presidency.” Both Presidents Bush and Obama stretched the power of the presidency. George Will explains, “After 2001, ‘The Decider’ (Bush) decided to start a preventive war and to countenance torture prohibited by treaty or statue. His successor (Obama) had ‘a pen and a phone,’ an indifference to the Constitution’s Take Care Clause (the President ‘shall take care that the laws be faithfully executed’) and...
