Much has been said about Maureen “I wanted to weave the idea into my column” Dowd’s latest take-down of Sarah Palin (“Caribou Barbie is one nutty puppy.”) Her hit-piece is a self-parody. Instead, of seriously critiquing the wisdom or folly of Palin’s controversial decision to step down from the governorship, we get child-like sentences on spec like this: "On the shore of Lake Lucille, with wild fowl honking and the First Dude smiling, with Piper in the foreground and their Piper Cub in the background, the woman who took the Republican Party by storm only 10 months ago gave an...

While out saying goodbye in the pouring rain and lightning to friends in my driveway, I noticed that traffic in the nearby road was backed up.This is very unusual, as busy as the road is for Southern New Hampshire. There was a very pretty female dog limping up the street, fortunately a very nice lady in a yellow SUV stopped and grabbed her by the collar.Thank God the animal had ID tags from the town (Secretely I was hoping I may have to keep her). The Animal control officer came right away and assured us that they can find her home from...

WASHINGTON, D.C., July 6, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - In a meeting with several members of the Catholic media Thursday, President Obama insisted that pro-life Catholics' fears over the new administration's abortion agenda was "not based on anything I've said or done." Even from Russia the President of the United States leads the world on to the wrong side of the Honduras Issue: “America supports now the restoration of the democratically-elected President of Honduras, even though he has strongly opposed American policies,” the president told graduate students at the commencement ceremony of Moscow’s New Economic School. “We do so not because we agree with him. We do so because we respect the universal principle that people should choose their own leaders, whether they are leaders we agree with or not. “ President Obama's rationale is naive at best. Deposed Honduras President Manuel...

July 6, 2009 (LifeSiteNews.com) - Increased rates of regressive autism in children in the US and UK can be historically associated with the switch by pharmaceutical companies from the use of animal cells to produce vaccines to the use of aborted human fetal cells, a campaign group is claiming. "Now when we vaccinate our children, some vaccines also deliver contaminating aborted human fetal DNA. The safety of this has never been tested," says Dr. Theresa Deisher, President of the Sound Choice Pharmaceutical Institute (SCPI). SCPI, a group that educates the public on the use of aborted human fetal material for...

If you want to see the logical disconnect of unions and their lap dog lawmakers where it concerns costs to government, one need look no further than the over indulgent healthcare plan that New Hampshire's state workers have been lavished with. On July 4, the Boston Globe published a story that details the incredibly rich healthcare plan that state workers have succeeded in getting due to union negotiations with pliant Democrat lawmakers. It seems that they get just about any kind of care they want and all for "free." It's called a "Cadillac" healthcare plan and it is amazing for...
