Personally, I realized that this World Wide Web thingamajig has other sites on it. Then I realized that I have legs. I then realized that there is a world outside.
Strange world that is. I'm not going back. </ sarcasm>

I thought about how they could make baseball more interesting, by letting the batter carry the bat with him, to try and gain bases, and you could put the basemen in pads, to try to defend themselves....ok, I stole that idea from Cracked magazine..but everytime I'm forced to watch baseball, I think that BaseBrawl would be better.

I went over to Lucianne.com and discovered how they must be more intelligent posters in that more of them agreed with my assessment that the House of Reps were cowards than did on FR
Then I wondered why this was.
Then I wondered if Newt Gingrich would have ever shut down the House under these circumstances.
Then I actually tried to register at L.com and did the whole thing, hit enter, and got an error message.
Then I tried to remember about the note about being down from 1 am to something. Then I wondered what the hell time it was in California, even what day.
Then, God forgive me, I went and read the entire Washington Post Online. Even read Richard Cohen and marveled that he seems to be getting more conservative every day. My husband rants and rails about Cohen every time he reads the man so much so that I dread when Coehn writes one of his kooky missives that will cause my husband to come home in a bad mood.
It was interesting.

"I think that BaseBrawl would be better."
Intentional beaning by the defense should also be allowed as an alternate means of outing a base runner...
The batter's head should be included as part of the strike zone...
The, "designated hitter," should have a last name like, "Gravano."

Saw some pics of some VERY cool new Zion guitars; really great flame tops, etc., etc. A bud has an older one, but it leaves me cold.......THESE look fine. Kramer has an el-cheapo but cool double-neck: acoustic and electric 6-strings. Could be interesting; only $600. Crappy reviews of new guitar processors, but some intriguing ones out, nonetheless. Damned if I don't still really want a Paul Reed Smith, though...........

I have come to the conclusion that the only people who are permanently banned from FR have no sense of humor and should be banned from the internet entirely and put in a Chinese prison factory where they spend the rest of their lives making cheap shoes that we can buy at Wal-Mart.

Opened a cold can of Coors.
Loaded some more LC brass to feed the M1 Garand using 147 grain boat tail with 48 grains of 4895.

You mean the game where the Giants have finished ahead of the Dodgers in the standings the last 5 years running?

Since you asked...
I found a truly fascinating website with a radio broadcast about an American warship called the USS Liberty. The Liberty was attacked by Isreal during the 6 day war (1968), and the whole thing was covered up at the HIGHEST LEVELS of government.
The guest on the broadcast is a crewmen from the liberty who explains why Johnson covered it up and why he ordered three separate Navy Admirals to turn-around there rescue flights while American Navy-men were dying in that attack!
Here's the link to the broadcast...

Well when I first saw it, my mind assumed it was This sep 11 since so many joined up after the attacks. But it was in 98. Just one of lifes little quirks.

Is there a cure?
I've found a good temporary cure is a severe verbal gang pile up when yer on the "wrong" side of an issue. That kinda thing usually weans me off for a day or two. "I just look at FR for the articles, I swear I don't post"...
