Refreshed 10/2/2004

This was a funny thread. It seemed appropriate to refresh it, since we're all suffering withdrawals. It's pretty much still relevant, and I'm sure lots more can be added after all the hours we were down....and will be down again tonight.

I discovered the dust bunnies under the bed were now large enough to require a .45 instead of a vacuum.

I attempted to Zot my next door neighbor. I wouldn't have done it except their stereo was playing so loud the walls in my house shook. It upset my personal viking kitty army and I took action...

Chatted on the yahoo group for a bit. Checked FR every 10-15 seconds and discovered quitting smoking was easier than FR withdrawal.

Me too. I didn't count the times I hit refresh. I also tried to trick the www. into giving me FR by coming at it from different sites.
Then I went back in the house to 'finish' washing my clothes...

I discovered that I enjoy spending time with a handful of three-dimensional people. I will miss them now that FR is back up (thank God!).

I used the time to bake a pound cake.

Then I pounded the cake on the computer till FR came back on.

I forgot to mention that I also popped into Ldot alternating with powerlineblog and pounding on my laptop attempting to fool www. into giving me back my FR!

I discovered a woman in my bed. It might be my wife, but I don't really remember what she looks like.

It might have been my wife. She said she was leaving to go back to Texas if I didn't get off the damn computer. I think it was a few months ago.

If it's her, ask her where my brown dress shoes are.

"I had to leave the house, ouch"

You too, huh?

I was so frustrated I let a guy that had been trying to get me to go out for 5 months talk me into going to a pig roast. It was a disaster...the "date", not the food. If I end up with a stalker, it's Jim's fault!
