This was a funny thread. It seemed appropriate to refresh it, since we're all suffering withdrawals. It's pretty much still relevant, and I'm sure lots more can be added after all the hours we were down....and will be down again tonight.

My house is filthy with dust, it was raining outside so I couldn't go out and work in the yard. So, I discovered how sleepy I was and napped thru the morning and part of the afternoon......

It was kind of fortunate for me, that Free Republic was down, as I was involved in solving immediate crisis at home. And now the crisis seems a bit more solved and Free Republic is back up and running.... Life is Grand!

I finally tried to get up from the computer chair after an extended period and discovered I was stuck to it. - Just got back from the ER where they had to dab some sort of an emollient salve on it and gradually cut it away with a surgical knife. They kept me sort of late, but I'm back on the computer chair sitting on a thick pillow. :o)
