    — If a bill to schedule the veterinary sedative becomes law, will that be enough? In February, we reported on the emerging problem of xylazine-laced fentanylopens in a new tab or window. In this report, we follow up on what has happened since doctors first started raising concerns about this contaminant and its effects. Early in 2023, word started to spread among physicians that a veterinary tranquilizer called xylazine -- also known as "tranq" -- was being added to fentanyl sold on the streets, to boost the opioid's effects and extend its high. Xylazine's complications were startling -- particularly the necrotizing...

Hundreds of thousands of lives have been saved over the years when naloxone — commonly known as Narcan — is administered to someone overdosing on opioids. Drugs Illegal drugs such as cocaine, heroin, and fentanyl can be mixed with xylazine, either to enhance drug effects or increase street value by increasing their weight. sedative/tranquilizer called xylazine to heroin, fentanyl and other opioids. And that’s bad news for addicts because naloxone doesn’t reverse a xylazine overdose. National Center for Biotechnology Information “You overdose on xylazine, and you’re going to die,” said the commander of the Greater Harrison Drug & Violent Crimes...

After a year-long investigation, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office on Monday announced it had busted a fentanyl distribution organization that was mixing a dangerous animal tranquilizer into the drugs it was selling. The animal tranquilizer, xylazine, is known to cause wounds at injection sites that destroy flesh and can lead to the amputation of limbs. Because it is a sedative and not a narcotic, users who overdose on drugs mixed with the drug might not be revived by treatments like Narcan, said sheriff's spokesman Andrew Gant. Operation Empire was carried out by the Volusia Bureau of Investigation and East Volusia...

Tranq — a k a xylazine, the so-called zombie drug that leaves users psychotic and covered with open, rotting wounds — is taking over New York’s drug supply. As the DEA agent who oversees operations in New York put it, “Tranq can end up anywhere, at any time, and can kill anyone.” It’s found in a hideous 15% of all drugs tested by the DEA for the northeast, and more than 85% of the drugs containing tranq also contain another major killer: fentanyl. How on earth did we get here? Thank your local progressive pol.
  • Horrific footage shows devastation of Philadelphia’s ‘tranq’ epidemic

Horrific footage shows the devastating toll the “tranq” drug epidemic has had on addicts in Philadelphia. The Kensington neighborhood — made infamous by its open-air drug market — is seen completely packed with the slumped-over and passed-out drug users in the video posted to TikTok by urbanvisuals2.0. The harrowing clip comes as the “City of Brother Love” struggles with the rising use of the drug Xylazine, or “tranq,” which is a deadly sedative used to enhance the effects of heroin, cocaine, and fentanyl. The drug is so potent the White House recently declared it an “emerging threat.”Dr. Rahul Gupta, Director...
  • People DON'T have to die of Xylazine

I keep hearing about the fentanyl crisis, and now fentanyl being laced with xylazine. But today, I actually heard on the radio that there is nothing they can do about xylazine, which is why it is so deadly. The sad thing is that that information is 100% INCORRECT. Xylazine has TWO very effective reversal agents that Veterinarians use in practice frequently and effectively. A mixed product containing Narcan and yohimbine-or-tolazine would reverse BOTH elements in a fentanyl/xyalzine overdose. I spoke to local authorities, and they were not familiar at all with yohimbine/tolazine for the reversal of xyalzine. I am now...
  • Zombie Drug Spreads to 48 States, Proposed Bill Seeks Crack Down

About five years ago, xylazine—a non-opioid sedative used in veterinary medicine—made its way to Philadelphia from Puerto Rico. Although not approved for human use, xylazine by itself is nowhere near as deadly as fentanyl or other strong opioids. However, when mixed with fentanyl as a low-cost cutting agent, the combination is particularly dangerous. Due to its use as a veterinary tranquilizer, xylazine is easily accessible. Also known as “tranq,” the sedative causes depressed breathing, lower blood pressure and heart rate, unconsciousness and necrosis that may lead to amputation—hence its “zombie drug” nickname. In 2021, researchers linked xylazine to 1 in...
  • PHARMAKEIA ALERT: Street Drug Xylazine Known As ‘Tranq’ Is Creating Literal Zombie Populations In Predominantly Democrat-Controlled Cities Across US

We have said this many, many times, and it bears repeating here again in this article today on the street drug tranq. The world you live in, in 2023, is opening and fervently preparing itself to receive the coming Antichrist, and you are watching the ‘advance team’ for his kingdom assembling itself in real-time. Remember that little Greek work called Pharmakeia that we use in English for ‘pharmacy’ and ‘medicine’? The main meaning of that word is ‘sorcery’ as it relates to ‘medicine’, and if you know anyone who has been severely impacted after receiving the government injection, then you...

A new drug that is making its way across America is literally rotting the skin of users. Xylazine, which has been approved for veterinary use but not for use in humans, acts as a sedative and is a non-opioid drug that does not respond to Narcon. The drug, which is rotting the skin of drug users, is currently most prevalent in major Democrat-controlled cities is also referred to as “tranq dope.” The zombie drug is most prevalent currently most prevalent in Democrat-controlled major cities like Philadelphia, New York, Chicago, San Fransisco, and Los Angeles, where Dr. Gary Tsai, the director...

The numbers are horrifying, but drug overdose death statistics can't fully convey the crisis ravaging America, so DailyMail.com has documented the suffering in some of the worst-affected communities. There were 107,622 deaths from drug overdoses in the US in 2021, an increase of nearly 15 percent from the year prior, and shocking national trends show few signs of the crisis abating. Just two milligrams of fentanyl - the amount that fits on the top of a pencil tip - is deadly. Despite successful nationwide stings to bust dealers, authorities admit there's no end in sight for the epidemic. The animal...
