America’s elite schools are either toxic nests of racism, or insufferably woke indoctrination camps. As the saying goes, Why not both? The last few weeks have seen the first wave of real pushback against radically dumb wokification at formerly prestigious private schools—and this time it’s coming from inside the school. Much has been written recently about the war taking place on America’s premiere private school campuses. A teacher at Grace School in New York wrote a brutal takedown of the woke regime. A parent at Brearley went viral with a scathing letter to his daughter’s school. Bari Weiss covered some...

A protest in Los Angeles over a deadly police shooting of an immigrant turned into a clash between the cops and demonstrators Monday. Police donned riot gear to clear an area near MacArthur Park around 10 p.m. as angry protesters began throwing bottles and setting trash cans on fire. When they arrived, offices ordered the man to drop the blade. When he refused, he was shot dead....

Incumbent Democrat Russ Feingold is still in a virtual dead heat with endorsed Republican challenger Ron Johnson in Wisconsin’s U.S. Senate race. The latest Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Voters in the state shows Feingold drawing 46% of the vote, while Johnson picks up 45%. Only three percent (3%) would vote for another candidate, and six percent (6%) are undecided. The two men also were tied in late May, just after Johnson was officially endorsed at the state’s Republican convention. Businessman Dave Westlake is challenging Johnson for the GOP nomination to be decided in a September 14 primary. Given...

If Scott Brown can win in Mass, anything is possible this year. Senator Russ Feingold was elected our US Senator in 1992. He has served three terms and perfect personifies what is wrong in Wash DC. Elected as a 'maverick', his signature legislative accomplishment in 18 years is 'McCain/Feingold' campaign finance 'reform'. Totally ineffective, it has done nothing to stop special interests from infecting our political campaigns. This election cycle, no 'establishment' Republican has dared to challenge Feingold. Feingold currently has raised over 9 million $ for his campaign, and has over $3 million 'cash' on hand, according to 'open...

Michael Tenenbaum says most people he meets while campaigning in local communities don't know who their congressman is. "It's not your fault you don't know," Tenenbaum tells them. "If he'd done something you'd know him." Tenenbaum, 37, is speaking of his June 6 primary election opponent, Elton Gallegly of Simi Valley, the 20-year congressman for the 24th District, which covers parts of Santa Barbara and Ventura counties, including Thousand Oaks. Voters will choose one of the two Republicans for the November election ballot. What many people do know about Gallegly, 62, adds Tenenbaum, is that Gallegly unexpectedly announced his retirement...
