ROCKY RIVER, Ohio (WOIO) - A Westlake man is now facing criminal charges for allegedly threatening GOP Congressman Max Miller and his family while they were driving on I-90.
Rocky River Police said Feras Hamdan, 36, of Westlake, turned himself in at the Rocky River Police Department with his attorney.
According to police, Miller called 911 around 9:30 a.m. Thursday saying while he was driving to work, a man laid on his horn and ran him off the road when he couldn’t get his attention, while trying to show the Palestinian flag.
Miller also said the man yelled death to Israel and threatened to kill him and his family during the incident.
Police added Miller also requested a criminal protection order against Hamdan.
The incident remains under investigation by Rocky River Police, U.S. Capital Police, Ohio State Highway Patrol Troopers, the FBI, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of Ohio.
Hamdan is charged with aggravated menacing and is expected to be arraigned in Rocky River Municipal Court Friday.
Hamdan… We’ve let countless terrorists into America and like too much salt in a recipe, we’ll never get it out.
Our grandchildren will curse us for letting in so many third world foreigners.
