Who was the better President? Bush 41 or 43? Reason I ask is I posted a thread today about Bush 43 and it got a lot of responses back.. I would say Bush 41 got more done in one term then his son in two terms. End the cold war and Iraq.

While the presidential horserace will consume much of the political media’s attention over the next year, muted Running Mate Match Game speculation is already underway. One figure that generates a disproportionate amount of discussion on this front is Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.). Despite a series of public demurrals, Rubio-for-VP buzz is unlikely to dissipate any time soon. In Rubio, Republicans have a gifted politician, a very effective communicator, and someone who has earned near-universal admiration among conservatives. He also hails from a critical swing state, and could almost single-handedly put a coveted and growing demographic into play, virtually overnight. Rubio...

In his new profile piece in the New York Times, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) said something very interesting about one of his top allies, Sen. John McCain (R-AZ): McCain is moving right because of the challenge against him in the Republican primary from former Rep. J.D. Hayworth. As we noted, Graham predicted that the Tea Party movement will die out, saying it has no actual vision for governing the country. But that's not all Graham had to say. Here's the exchange about McCain: I observed that if this conversation about how to resolve tough issues were taking place in 2006,...

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Longshot Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul on Thursday gave front-runner Rudy Giuliani a list of foreign-policy books to back up his contention that attacks by Islamic militants are fueled by the U.S. presence in the Middle East. "I'm giving Mr. Giuliani a reading assignment," the nine-term Texas congressman said as he stood behind a stack of books that included the report by the commission that examined the attacks on the United States on September 11, 2001. Giuliani was mayor of New York when Islamic militants slammed two commercial airliners into the World Trade Center, a role...
