The annual FreedomFest conference, has issued a debate invitation to GOP Presidential candidates Rudy Giuliani and Ron Paul to use FreedomFest 07 as a debate venue to further explore their fundamental differences in foreign policy and the war in Iraq that were highlighted in the Columbia, SC debate.
Mark Skousen, producer of the debate issued the invitation to both candidates this week. FreedomFest will be held in Las Vegas July 5-7.

A Texas Straight-Talker and a guy who has been married to every side of all the issues, in and out of a skirt. It would be interesting, but Rudy’s too much of a coward.
I would love for this to happen, but I find it highly unlikely. Giuliani would never accept to do this. His numbers are dropping like stones and if he were to accept this, his numbers would completely drop to the bottom due to the pounding the good Dr put on him.
I hope Paul accepts just to be prepared for Giulani’s likely no-show.
I’m sure Paul would accept. He has had a consistent position on every issue for the past 30 years, and laid them out in writing.
I can’t post the link here, but if you google “Ron Paul arvhives”, you will find several year’s worth of speeches he gave on the house floor on various issues.
I don’t think Rudy would stand a chance in a lengthy debate.
soundbites maybe...a real debate, no way.
I think it would be likely, unless perhaps Giuliani guaranteed that he would not show up and there were higher profile speaking opportunities available.
