In a bombshell release, the House Judiciary Committee, led by Chairman Jim Jordan, has unveiled a comprehensive report titled “Lawfare: How the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office and a New York State Judge Violated the Constitutional and Legal Rights of President Donald J. Trump.” This interim staff report, a result of extensive investigations by the Committee and the Select Subcommittee on the Weaponization of the Federal Government, exposes the egregious violations of President Trump’s rights by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and Judge Juan Merchan. The report scrutinizes Bragg’s 34-count criminal indictment against Trump, which was announced on April 4, 2023....

HOLY ****: Special Counsel Jack Smith just admitted the FBI added cover sheets to alleged classified documents found at MAL and took photos for evidence. This confirms my report from last month that the FBI doctored evidence to produce stunt photos of classified docs at MAL:

On Monday, in the ongoing Manhattan trial of former President Donald Trump, a witness for the prosecution gave some startling testimony. While on the stand being questioned by the defense, former Trump Organization controller Jeffrey McConney testified that former President Trump did not personally order payments made to attorney Michael Cohen, who allegedly paid the "hush money" payment to porn star Stormy Daniels."Michael Cohen was a lawyer?" defense attorney Emil Bove asked former Trump Organization controller Jeffrey McConney on Monday at the start of the fourth week of the trial."Sure, yes," McConney responded. "And payments to lawyers by the Trump...

We already knew that the FBI used the Clinton-funded Steele Dossier to obtain FISA warrants and justify spying on Trump campaign officials in the hopes of thwarting his campaign and undermining his presidency. But this week we learned that the CIA under Barack Obama recruited the intelligence services of foreign allies to illegally spy on 26 associates of Donald Trump before the FBI launched its counterintelligence probe in the summer of 2016. But before we get more into that, let's take a step back. Back in December, CNN reported that a binder "containing highly classified information related to Russian election...

The judge in former President Donald Trump’s $370 million civil lawsuit in New York—who, even before the trial began, ruled the former president liable for fraud—has sent a sharply worded email to President Trump’s attorneys defending his impartiality. Judge Arthur Engoron’s Feb. 8 email to Trump attorney Cliff Robert chides the lawyer for questioning the judge’s objectivity. “You and your co-counsel have been questioning my impartiality since the early days of this case, presumably because I sometimes rule against your clients,” Judge Engoron wrote. “That whole approach is getting old.” The insistence on his objectivity—and rebuke of Mr. Robert for...

Full disclosure, we typically take bombshells like this with a grain of salt because this is the sort of story that definitely will get lots of clicks and taps and often times, if something sounds like it's too good to be true it probably is. However, coming from Byron York? Yeah ... this is worth covering. Take a look at THIS: Trump lawyer says defense just learned that E Jean Carroll judge was once 'mentor' to Carroll's lawyer. 'This issue is particularly concerning since Plaintiff’s other lead counsel, Shawn Crowley, served as Your Honor’s law clerk, and we were previously...

Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her alleged lover and lead prosecutor on the Trump election fraud case in Georgia have been hit with subpoenas to testify at a court hearing later this month, according to a report. The lawyers for Donald Trump co-defendant Michael Roman are seeking to have criminal charges against their client thrown out over the alleged “clandestine” affair between Willis and special prosecutor Nathan Wade — a claim which will be fleshed out at a Feb. 15 hearing where Willis and Wade have been subpoenaed to testify, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution reported. Roman’s lawyer Ashleigh Merchant...

Last week, a jury awarded E. Jean Carroll a ridiculous $83.3 million in damages for alleged defamation by Donald Trump after she made dubious allegations that he sexually assaulted her in the 1990s. Trump’s antics in the courtroom have been widely reported, but so have the judge’s rather bizarre orders that essentially hamstrung Trump and his defense, forbidding him to present exculpatory evidence or defend himself. There may be a reason why Trump wasn’t given the opportunity to adequately defend himself. It appears that Judge Lewis A. Kaplan, who presided over the case, may have a major conflict of interest....

I am a former assistant U.S. attorney, worked on two Supreme Court confirmations, and clerked for two federal appellate judges. I have reviewed the indictment brought by Special Counsel Jack Smith in the documents case against former President Donald Trump, and have serious concerns with the way this case is being framed in the public and with some aspects of the way the prosecution itself is being conducted. Here are six major issues I see that need to be addressed by the special counsel’s team. 1. Interplay Between the Espionage Act and the Presidential Records Act Others have already spoken...

WASHINGTON — Former President Donald Trump’s lawyers are rebutting the case made by House impeachment managers as they take their turn to present arguments on day four of his trial. The former president’s defense team has 16 hours to make their case but lead impeachment lawyer David Shoen said they would likely only use three to four hours to present their arguments.

A caller called into the Chris Plante show today and suggested that Trump's team should bring a kangaroo--either a silhouette or a stuffed kangaroo holding a tennis racket. Why do this? Trump's lawyers have called the trial tomorrow--Political Theatre. Of course, the trial is political theatre. That's why a Kangaroo holding a tennis racket would be helpful. After all the trial tomorrow will be held in a Kangaroo Court. If anyone has connections to Trump's lawyers--kindly put this suggestion to them.

Matt Gaetz was on with Bannon for the past half hour. The gist is they both think that "the best defense is a good offense" and that the centerpiece must be exposing the truth about the stolen election. The GOPe Senate HATES this idea, and says Gaetz cannot do it while he is a sitting Congressman. Matt Gaetz says that he will resign from Congress immediately in order to defend Trump in the Senate.

Whether it's Donald Trump or Hillary Clinton, the next president will need to deal with setting aside defense cuts as part of sequestration, Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.) said Monday, though he gave an indication as to which gender he expects the 45th commander in chief to be. “The next president, whoever he or she — most likely she — is going to be, needs to get these defense cuts set aside," Graham remarked during a discussion at the Center for a New American Security's conference. Graham also took a shot at Trump, his former presidential primary rival, in discussing the...
