Matt Gaetz was on with Bannon for the past half hour. The gist is they both think that "the best defense is a good offense" and that the centerpiece must be exposing the truth about the stolen election.
The GOPe Senate HATES this idea, and says Gaetz cannot do it while he is a sitting Congressman.
Matt Gaetz says that he will resign from Congress immediately in order to defend Trump in the Senate.
I’m not sure I’m a fan of this move, unless he is just saying it to get the Senate rinos off his back.
How red is his seat? How likely is someone else on the republican side to win it?
Me thinks he is needed more where he is now, than on the outside.
I assume he’s just talking smack?
The GOPe senators have said he CANNOT represent Trump as a sitting Congressman.
Gaetz says he’ll resign, it’s a higher priority than keeping his seat.
He says he’s never lost a trial case, and he won’t start in the Senate.

No....not a great idea. We need his seat in the House.
It signals conviction in his position, that’s for sure.
It also signals fundamental disagreement with GOP Senate. “if you can’t stand for this argument, I don’t want to be a member.”
The Senate and Congress as a whole are failed institutions. I don’t believe they are capable of self-repair. There is no moral legitimacy there.
Hope he is successful and becomes a hero for the cause.

He can resign then run again and win his seat. Or run against Rubio in teh senate and take his seat!
Why not? They are literally just making this up as they go along to squelch any hint of dissent.
You are aware the state has to be redristricted before 22 and that state is deep red at every level?
