He can act as lawyer and then hopefully run in the special election to reclaim his seat.

But-What’s his seat worth in the current, hysterical and wholly out of control Congress?

He can’t accomplish much in THAT environment. Staying ‘in’ ... he’d get tarred with the same slime that all the other Congressmen are sure (and apparently, eager) to immerse themselves
