After three and a half years of being lukewarm on Kamala Harris, Democrats are suddenly hot hot hot for the Vice President. The party is in full panic mode as Biden’s facade of cogency publicly crumbles faster than Bennifer 2.0. Dems are now desperately trying to make Kamala happen. It’s as if the gods were listening to that shrewd political prognosticator Drew Barrymore, who back in the spring had Harris on her show. There, the actress-turned-host did her signature close-talking to the VP and said, “We need you to be ‘Momala’ of the country.” This week, everyone jumped on the...

Democratic strategist Paul Begala said Friday on CNN’s “News Central” that President Joe Biden’s press conference addressing the report from Special Counsel Robert Hur was “terrible.” Host John Berman said, “How much democratic bedwetting do you think there will be?” Begala said, “Look, I’m a Biden supporter. And I slept like a baby last night. I woke up every two hours crying and wet the bed. This is terrible for Democrats, and anybody with a functioning brain knows that.”

During portions of an interview with Bloomberg released on Thursday, Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) stated that “we have to find an accommodation” with how the U.S. and China treat each other, and while China is awful on security, the economy, and human rights, “we have a shared planet, and we have to work with the Chinese to save the planet, because they’re now, I think, the biggest emitter, if not us, they’re second, and they are part of the solution in all of this.” But we shouldn’t reward China, but have a “mutual discussion about how we can go forward.”...

Former President Trump in an interview Sunday called the attack on Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) husband in their San Francisco home a “terrible thing” as he railed against crime in Democrat-led cities. “With Paul Pelosi, that’s a terrible thing, with all of them it’s a terrible thing,” Trump said in an interview with Americano Media, a conservative Spanish language outlet. “Look at what’s happened to San Francisco generally. Look at what’s happening in Chicago. It was far worse than Afghanistan.”

A Russian soldier in Moscow ran up to a nun. Out of breath he asked, "Please, may I hide under your skirt, I'll explain later." The nun agreed. A moment later two military police ran up and asked, "Sister, have you seen a soldier?" The nun replied, "He went that way." After the military police ran off, the soldier crawled out from under her skirt and said, "I can't thank you enough Sister. You see, I don't want to go to Ukraine." The nun said, "I understand completely." The soldier added, "I hope I'm not rude, but you have a...

The director of Germany’s disease control agency said Thursday the country could have a “really terrible Christmas” if it doesn’t take steps to counter the surge in COVID-19 infections. Lothar Wieler, director of the Robert Koch Institute, is calling for large events to be canceled and clubs and bars to shut down in order to combat a rise in infections, The Associated Press reported. Along with the closures, Wieler wants COVID-19 vaccine passports to be used for many public venues and businesses, according to the news service.

Hillary Clinton on Thursday night recalled the “terrible” day the FBI reopened its investigation into her use of private email after the feds confiscated Anthony Weiner’s laptop. The former secretary of state opened up about the then-stunning development at the tail end of her failed 2016 presidential bid in a sit-down conversation alongside her former top aide and Weiner’s ex Huma Abedin at Manhattan’s 92nd Street Y. “It was terrible for me because it just came out of nowhere,” Clinton said of the Oct. 28, 2016 decision by the-FBI Director James Comey.

He pokes fun at them on a nightly basis, but Jimmy Kimmel is questioning whether it's good for Americans to laugh at the country's "terrible" issues and political leaders. President Donald Trump excoriated an NBC News correspondent as a “terrible reporter” on Friday after he asked the president to calm Americans who were scared because of the coronavirus pandemic. NBC News’ Peter Alexander then asked Trump whether his “positive spin” regarding the potential treatments was giving Americans false hope. “Is it possible that your impulse to put a positive spin on things may be giving Americans a false sense of hope?” Alexander asked. “No I don’t think so,” Trump replied. Alexander responded by asking Trump to talk directly to Americans who are scared by the pandemic, which triggered the...

WASHINGTON (AP) — The U.S. trade deficit rose to a five-month high in May as the politically sensitive imbalances with China and Mexico widened. The Commerce Department said Wednesday that the gap between the goods and services the U.S. sells and what it buys from foreign countries rose 8.4% to $55.5 billion in May, the highest since December. Exports increased 2% to $210.6 billion on rising shipments of soybeans, aircraft and cars. But imports climbed more — 3.3% to $266.2 billion — on an increase in crude oil and cellphones. The deficit in the trade of goods with Mexico rose...

This arsenal of firearms is among the dozens of weapons that have been taken off London’s streets during the Met’s latest gun amnesty. Since Monday 45 weapons have been surrendered across the capital as part of the Give Up Your Gun campaign, including shotguns, revolvers, rifles and handguns, Scotland Yard said. Donald Trump on Sunday repeatedly slammed his chief presidential rival Sen. Ted Cruz as a "total liar" as the Texas senator and his allies have claimed in the final stretch to the Iowa caucuses that Trump favors government-run, universal health care. Cruz, meanwhile, pressed forward Sunday with the line of attack, proclaiming: "A vote for Donald Trump is a vote for Obamacare." "Look, Ted Cruz is a total liar. I am so against Obamacare. I've been saying it for two years in my speeches, I'm going to repeal and replace Obamacare," Trump said on ABC's "This Week." "I don't even...

HEMEIMEEM AIRBASE, Syria (AP) — Sleek combat jets loaded with precision bunker-buster bombs roar into the skies as soldiers in desert-style uniforms march past rows of neat housing at this Russian military base at one of Syria's largest airports. The air campaign in Syria, Russia's first military action outside the former Soviet Union since the war in Afghanistan, shows a revamped Russian military, which sharply differs in both capability and mindset from the old, Soviet-style force. It is capable of quickly projecting power far from Russian borders, widely uses drones and precision weapons, and cares about soldiers' comfort.

In recent weeks, the conventional wisdom on Hillary Clinton seems to have shifted. Her White House bid has gone from being perceived as an inevitable juggernaut to decidedly shaky ground. While this might seem surprising, a growing number of political insiders have suggested they saw this coming for a very simple reason: Clinton just isn't good at campaigning. Clinton's recent book tour was supposed to serve as a soft launch for a 2016 bid, but it quickly ran into obstacles. First, Clinton made a series of gaffes about her wealth. Then, last weekend, an interview with Clinton made headlines for...
