FOX NEWS INVESTIGATES – Since the George Floyd protests and riots of 2020, Target Corporation said it ramped up its diversity, equity and inclusion work. This agenda extended far beyond enhancing representation and support of historically marginalized groups externally and in its stores, and dipped into funding organizations with far-left and blatantly political agendas. Target's "accelerated" its DEI program in response to Black Lives Matter activism under the leadership of its diversity chief – Kiera Fernandez. The chief has demanded that "White women" get to work to combat the proclaimed systemic racism in America. Fox News Digital found that Target,...
  • Target keeps Thanksgiving opening despite complaints

Despite getting an earful from some critics and employees over its plan to open stores on Thanksgiving evening this year, Target Corp. said it will press ahead with the plan. KSTP reports that a Target retail worker on Monday delivered a petition with more than 350,000 signatures asking the retailer to reverse its decision to open at 9 p.m. Thanksgiving this year.

Two years after Target Corp. angered gay marriage supporters with a political donation that benefited a fiery gay marriage opponent seeking the governor's office, the retailer is now upsetting same-sex marriage opponents by selling T-shirts to raise money for a group working to defeat a gay marriage ban in Minnesota. The Minneapolis-based retailer is taking heat in its home state, where voters will decide this November whether to put a gay marriage ban into the state constitution. One organizer of gay marriage opponents warned that their displeasure could spread to 32 other states where voters have banned gay marriage. "Target...
  • Where Israel did get wiped off map

It looks as if Iran has found allies in its quest to wipe Israel off the map -- the dopes at your friendly neighborhood Target store. On sale exclusively at Target is this innocent-looking toy globe. Thousands of these trinkets have already moved out of malls, from Queens to Honolulu, and landed in living rooms and kids' rooms across America. But folks who forked over a buck for the miniature worlds got less than they bargained for. These planetary models contain just about all the countries on Earth -- from France to China, Singapore to Spain. But there's one glaring...
  • Homosexuals May Have Forced Target's Salvation Army Ban

Pro-family groups based in Washington, DC, and in Illinois say homosexuals are behind a new policy at Target stores that has resulted in banning Salvation Army kettle drive activities on the retail chain's premises nationwide. The familiar Salvation Army bell ringers and their red kettles have been barred from Target stores this Christmas season, and the official reason given by the retailer has to do with its policy prohibiting all nonprofit soliciting at Target locations. However, Bob Knight of the Culture and Family Institute is suspicious of the company's explanation. While it is true that Target has maintained a long-standing...
  • CFI Spokesman: United Way, Target Should Get Nothing from Christians This Christmas

A pro-family organization has issued an alert to those who may be considering giving to one of the nation's largest charities this holiday season. The group's spokesman is warding donors away from United Way, and he also wants shoppers to know a thing or two about Target stores. Bob Knight, director of the Culture and Family Institute, says the United Way has been crossed off his gift list. That is because the well-known charity refuses to share its money with the Boy Scouts of America while it openly supports numerous pro-homosexual groups with its money. "I don't know why people...

The local Target store refused again to support a veterans organization. I chair a program called Operation Stuff the Bus, where we collect school supplies for homeless children. We place a school bus on key parking lots and invite local citizens to "stuff" it with things needy children must have to begin the new school term. All Walmart stores and the Belleview, FL Kmart store welcomed us. However, the Ocala, Florida, Target store flatly refused to let us on their parking lot. This is the second year that they have refused. By the way, we weren't asking for a donation....

Subject: Target shoots itself in the foot. Dick Forrey, Vietnam Veterans Association We asked our local Target store to be a sponsor of the Vietnam Veterans' Memorial Wall during our spring recognition event. We received back a reply from Target management that "veterans do not meet our area of giving. We only donate to the areas of the arts, social actions, gay and lesbian causes, and education." " My thought: If the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall and veterans in general, do not meet their donation criteria, something is wrong at Target. We were not asking for thousands of dollars, not...
