The NFL’s announcement that Bad Bunny will headline the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show has sparked excitement across music and sports. But while fans celebrate the Puerto Rican superstar’s historic booking, former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is questioning how these selections are actually made—and pointing directly at Jay-Z. He wrote: "Barack Obama's best friend Jay-Z runs the Super Bowl selection process through his company Roc Nation which has an exclusive contract with the NFL. This is who chooses the halftime show, the most watched musical performance in America." His claim adds weight to ongoing discussions about how much power...

Dee Snider did not like what he saw during Sunday’s Super Bowl halftime show. The Twisted Sister frontman criticized Jennifer Lopez and Shakira for what he considered too sexy performances for the NFL’s family-friendly audience, and insisted a rock band would have brought a different vibe. “Beginning to pole humping, ass slapping, ass shaking end. If that’s the requirements for a half-time show, none of the rock bands I know can or will do that. #justsayin,” Snider tweeted Sunday night. It’s the separation of children from their parents that the lefties are in an uproar about even though it was also happening under Obama at pretty much the same levels. Democrats basically invited people to assault our border and then got them arrested for the crime! Only the really slow ones are still raging on about the cages since most of them have finally gotten the message that the pictures they were all upset about were taken during the Obama administration. That’s when they pivoted their fake outrage to the fact of the separation instead of the optics. Some liberal...

This year, Super Bowl LIV took place in Miami. It was, therefore, appropriate for the halftime show to have a Latin beat, with Shakira and J-Lo as the headliners. Still, some people asked, "Did the show have to be so vulgar?" On the pro side, Shakira and J-Lo are both superb entertainers, the songs they used were fun and energetic, the Latin beat rocked, and the backup performers were excellent. All in all, the show was a polished 14 minutes of top-flight Latin-infused pop music and dancing. Any people who attended a stadium show just to see these two performers,...

MIAMI — Descending from the air, Lady Gaga kicked off a pre-Super Bowl concert by mimicking her entrance to her Super Bowl halftime performance three years ago, which earned her raved reviews. Headlining the big sports stage was a recurring theme of her Miami concert Saturday night, and the pop star sent a message to Sunday's featured performers: “I better hear no lip-syncing tomorrow!”..... So, thank you,” said Gaga, who also wowed audiences at the 2016 Super Bowl when she sang the national anthem.

The controversy surrounding Super Bowl LIII’s halftime show continues, as Colin Kaepernick’s attorney Mark Geragos called Maroon 5 frontman Adam Levine’s rationalization on his participation “a cop out.” Speaking on Good Morning America on Friday, Geragos called on Levine to admit what he’s doing by appearing in the NFL Super Bowl halftime. “If you’re going to cross this idealogical or intellectual picket line, then own it, and Adam Levine certainly isn’t owning it,” Geragos said. “It’s a cop-out when you start talking about, ‘I’m not a politician; I’m just doing the music.’ Most of the musicians who have any kind...

Justin Timberlake has been confirmed as the headliner for this year's Super Bowl LII halftime show — but not everyone is firing the confetti cannons. Folks haven't quite forgotten Timberlake's role in the supposed "wardrobe malfunction" at the 2004 halftime show with Janet Jackson, and how her career took a major hit while his star continued to rise. The incident, referred to often as "Nipplegate," occured when Timberlake exposed Jackson's breast, which was adorned with a nipple pastie, during the halftime show of Super Bowl XXXVII. The planned nature of the performance was broadly debated, though Jackson's team said it...
