Embattled New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez will not run for re-election in November, although he still refuses to hand in his resignation, The Post has learned. “He will not be running,” said a source close to Menendez. The three-term federal senator, who resigned his powerful position as chair of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee following the initial indictment last year, faces an 18-count indictment — and stiff competition from a group of Democratic primary challengers.

When Republicans took power in the House of Representatives, they began trying to find evidence to make the case that President Biden had profited from the business dealings of his son, Hunter Biden. They have not found that evidence, and struggled to bring public focus to their investigation – that is, until this week, when it was given the imprimatur of impeachment. But this impeachment case is different – both in substance and in process – than the ones that loom large over the legacies of former presidents like Richard Nixon, Bill Clinton and Donald Trump.

Graydon Young, a 54-year-old from Florida who was charged in a 16-person conspiracy case related to the Capitol riot, will plead guilty Wednesday. Young, a member of the Oath Keepers, was hit with 6 counts, including conspiracy and aiding and abetting the obstruction of the congressional proceeding, CNN reported. He was also previously charged with document tampering after he deleted his Facebook account two days after January 6 – months before the feds interviewed him!
