Blaming Joe Stack's suicide mission on Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, and the Tea Party is insane
Philly2Philly ^ | February 18, 2010 | Dennis Bakay

By now you've probably heard about a lunatic with a small airplane named Joe Stack who crashed his plane into an IRS building Austin, Texas in an attempt to get back at the man-or "Big Brother" as he so eloquently stated on his website.

I'm not about to blame Joe Stack's kamikaze mission on Rush Limbaugh, Sarah Palin, or the Tea Baggers like some on the left. That is irresponsible and reprehensible. Anybody who would blaim Stack's suicide mission on Limbaugh, Palin, or the GOP, is purely agenda-driven and not looking at the facts.

Joseph Andrew Stack (gotta love how the media always includes the middle name) was a middle-aged man who tired of the political system and felt like yet another little guy that was neglected by Uncle Sam.

His rantings are the words of a lunatic. I won't call him "right-wing" or "left-wing" and will just say this guy was nuts.

(VIDEO AT LINK)

"We are all taught as children that without laws there would be no society, only anarchy. Sadly, starting at early ages we in this country have been brainwashed to believe that, in return for our dedication and service, our government stands for justice for all. We are further brainwashed to believe that there is freedom in this place, and that we should be ready to lay our lives down for the noble principals represented by its founding fathers."

This type of rant reminds me of something you'd hear from a Lynden LaRouche supporter or someone who speaks of the Illuminati.

I certainly wouldn't call this guy a religious extremist. He ranted about the Catholic church in his manifesto as well.

"My introduction to the real American nightmare starts back in the early ‘80s. Unfortunately after more than 16 years of school, somewhere along the line I picked up the absurd, pompous notion that I could read and understand plain English. Some friends introduced me to a group of people who were having ‘tax code’ readings and discussions. In particular, zeroed in on a section relating to the wonderful “exemptions” that make institutions like the vulgar, corrupt Catholic Church so incredibly wealthy."

People who knew the Joe Stack say he showed no signs of snapping-the mark of someone who goes insane. He talked politics, but not like that guy we all have met or know who we suspect will possibly go postal or shoot up a shopping mall.

There's an old saying that a sucker is born every minute. These days it seems like a lunatic is born every minute. My, my how things have changed in America. And, that is very frightening.

That won't stop the Left from doing it, though. IIRC, Chris Matthews has already gone there.

He bashes Bush, Capitalism and the Catholic Church. No mention of Obama. I’ll bet $100 bucks he was a registered Democrat.

That is standard operating procedure for the MSM and the Dummies.
Sort of like the Race Card, expired and useless.

This guy was just following Zeros lead. Blame everyone else for your problem, and if others don’t do wht you what, Resort to strong arm tactics.

From what I understand, he was PO'd because he wasn't going to get free PO healthcare. That doesn't sound like a right winger to me. Of course, I don't do "recreational" drugs either so maybe I just don't "get it".

One thing I do "get" is that the MSM "media" isn't saying much about their Ft. Jackson Five pals.

The wackos on the Left still don’t get it. We The People vow to vote them out in November regardless of their BS. Their old games aren’t gonna keep them in office.

Dennis, is there some organization of homoerotic oral sex practitioners that you expect to be blamed for this? Or are you using a vulgar reference to Tea Party activists?

America has lost a tax payer and a building today. Matthews is a master revolution manipulator and should be JAILED for inciting to come to blows about this issue like this. This government keeps listening and supporting idiots like him to this day and this is not going to end well.

It’s very sad a disturbed but otherwise intelligent man had to die that way when he could have been much more helpful to sanitize America of this kind of politics and Matthews style trials without a survivor’s defense.

But if the rich left wants to come to blows over this, they will have the very people they think supports them cutting their own heads off, mark my words - welfare recipients included and not just tax payers. Incompetence and “meek fascist” manipulation is not welcome anywhere.

But he ends it all with this:

“The communist creed:
From each according to his ability, to each according to his need.

The capitalist creed:
From each according to his gullibility, to each according to his greed.”

-Joe Stack (1956-2010)

Not exactly a denouncement of Communism. And certainly not an endorsement of Capitalism.

Chris Matthews and Politico writer Jonathan Martin(formerly of National Review and good buddy of Rich Lowry) regularly insinuates Palin as being a racist. Martin and Matthews have multiple times castigated tea party gatherings as racist.

It is ridiculous in so many ways but I am not surprised that they are trying.
The guy was a Bush-bashing communist whacko which is the same way one could describe the current Resident of the WH. If he did vote, I would give 100-1 odds that it was for Obumble.
There are no communists in the TEA PARTY!

So, the big question is “Which will Chrissy & Keith foment about this evening?”

“Cheney” or how “the pilot in Austin must have been a teabagger”....?

ahhh....they’ll find time for both, I’m sure...
