Former CIA Director John Brennan claimed Wednesday on MSNBC’s “Deadline” that former special counsel John Durham and Republicans skewed findings and misrepresented facts. Brennen said, “When I read the report, when it came out, I think my reaction was much like others. I was very — it was underwhelming. The Department of Justice Inspector General Michael Horowitz did a good job pointing out some of the missteps, and the tactical missteps the FBI made as it pursued this investigation. And also the Senate Intelligence Committee did a review of this.”

The poll released yesterday by Morning Consult/Politico shows former Vice President Joe Biden with an 8 point lead over Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election. To many that is shocking because the president’s approval rating and numbers have been quite high at this point in his presidency, even higher than Barack Obamas during the first 2 years. However, if you dig below the surface of the polling data, the reason for this anomoly becomes starkly clear. The poll shows this big of a lead because most polled were Democrats. See the data below taken from the Morning Consult polling...

The Pentagon's Inspector General's Office has confirmed to ABC News that it is investigating allegations that U.S. Central Command's intelligence assessments of the progress of the war on ISIS was distorted to provide a more optimistic picture. Bridget Serchak, a spokesperson for the Department of Defense's Inspector General, said in a statement. "As has been previously reported, the Office of Inspector General Department of Defense has opened an investigation to address recent allegations concerning the processing of intelligence information by CENTCOM Intelligence Directorate." "The investigation will address whether there was any falsification, distortion, delay, suppression, or improper modification of intelligence...

In most all things, I try to follow Hanlon’s (or Heinlein’s) Razor: “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.” This is particularly important to remember when looking at polls, Sometimes, however, one must wonder. As I pointed out yesterday, the result of Romney’s “really bad week” was that Romney had gone from 5 or 6 points behind in Gallup, to essentially tied. Even so, a number of people have noted that there are some odd assumptions in that poll, and others. Pat Caddell and Doug Schoen talked about it recently. Asked if the polls were, in...

Great news here. Rush opened his show noting that the CNN poll which has Obama up 6 points over Romney is a joke of a poll, that it over samples Democrats by a very wide margin. Which makes his point that media is still trying to prop up Obama with these phony polls. He explains below and more:

Anyone who is watching "Hannity and Colmes" this evening should find it strange that Scott Rasmussen is explaining and even openly defending the tax policies of Barack Hussein Obama. In particular, I noticed that Sean was telling Rasmussen that "businesses don't pay increased taxes, they pass that onto the consumer with increased prices." What the heck was Scott Rasmussen doing by explaining and even DEFENDING the tax proposals of Barack Obama? Isn't Rasmussen supposed to be an objective pollster?

July 5, 2002: Poor Martha Stewart. TV's proud potentate of perfection may be wearing prison stripes soon, and never have the masses been so insolent toward the haughty diva of decorating. Ms. Stewart was so affronted by a brazen attempt by her Early Show colleagues' to question her about charges of inside stock trading circulating against her -- to add insult to injury, while she was preparing the perfect cabbage salad -- she has refused to appear on the early-morning CBS TV show again. Nonetheless, the pack continues to nip at the regal Ms. Stewart's heels. Martha Stewart jokes...
