This is different. This post isn't about what I have gleemed from some 'news-source' today. This post is about HOW do you convince your friends, your family .. your loved ones that "There Is A Crisis" in America and that this crisis continues to grow, each and every day..regardless of whether they believe it or not! The only thing that any of them believe in is: Our Government. I would like to give you the whole story, how I have tried and finally given up, given up in trying to convince my family, my loved ones that we are at...

Not only were neither Saddam Hussein nor Iraq mentioned in a film about the Iraq-Kuwait war, but the Manchurian corporation's technicians rewire the brains of the abducted U.S. soldiers with false memories of al-Qaida-type jihadists so that they will lay the blame for their terrorist acts on an innocent Muslim jihadist. Why don't the movies have plausible, real-world villains anymore? One reason is that a plethora of stereotype-sensitive advocacy groups, representing everyone from hyphenated ethnic minorities and the physically handicapped to Army and CIA veterans, now maintain liaisons in Hollywood to protect their images. The studios themselves often have "outreach...

SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) -- Federal guidelines released Thursday for protecting seasonal wetlands favor development over species protection in a handful of fast-growing California counties. The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service decided that protecting all areas containing the so-called vernal pools would be too costly to the state's economy. The agency's revised guidelines are the latest version of a federal critical habitat plan that an environmental group has successfully challenged in court. They could lead to additional housing developments in a state where the median home price is about $450,000, 2 1/2 times the national median. The wildlife agency says it...

Is marriage, as a social institution, doomed? As recently as 50 years ago, it was the norm for people to get married and have children. But now, at least in the west, we are seeing record numbers of people divorcing, leaving marriage until later in life or not getting married at all. In Britain, I was amazed to learn the other day, the proportion of children born outside marriage has shot up from 9 per cent to 42 per cent since 1976. In France, the proportion is 44 per cent, in Sweden, it is 56 per cent and even in...

UNITED NATIONS - The U.N. oil-for-food probe violated the confidentiality of a witness by passing sensitive information about him to U.N. Secretary-General Kofi Annan and his lawyer in preparation for a recent report, a former investigator claimed. The allegations were the latest in a dispute between the former investigator, Robert Parton, and the Independent Inquiry Committee headed by former Federal Reserve chairman Paul Volcker. Parton quit the committee in April, reportedly because he felt its March 29 interim report was too soft on Annan. The executive director of the probe, Reid Morden, said Monday the interim report did not violate...

NEW ORLEANS -- The Louisiana Supreme Court has given a judge a six-month suspension for wearing blackface makeup, handcuffs and a jail jumpsuit to a Halloween party. Marlon Wayans and Shawn Wayans in Columbia Pictures' White Chicks - 2004Judge Timothy Ellender will lose all of his pay during the suspension. That totals more than $50,000. Ellender, who is white, said the costumes worn by him and his wife were meant as a joke. She dressed as a policewoman. And the party's host, Ellender's brother-in-law, was dressed as Buckwheat. The justices agreed Ellender did not mean to insult blacks. Still, they...

Top ways John Kerry would fight a “sensitive” war against the Terrorists... 10. Throw a party for the Terrorists and then have Ted Kennedy drive them all home. 9. Let Edwards sue all of them. 8. Drop naked photos of Barbara Streisand, Whoopi Goldberg and Michael Moore on their positions(oh sorry, wrong list... that’s an”evil & cruel” way to wage war). 7. Have the French Army teach our troops how to properly say “I surrender” in over 30 Arab dialects. 6. Promise if they stop fighting that the New Jersey Governor along with Barney Franks will perform extreme make overs...

Let's face it, he just wants something resembling a good reputation. But, he doesn't have one, so he can't really be blamed if he extrapolates on his own a little and also borrows parts of others. Problem is, some people are starting to notice. For instance, the seldom read Kerry campaign web site was glanced at by an Associated Press political writer the other day and a little discrepancy was noticed. So, the AP article began: "John Kerry, Bob Kerrey. It's easy to get confused. At least that's how the Kerry campaign is explaining claims that Kerry -- the Democratic...

President Bush has launched a drive to halt illegal immigration across America's porous southern border, amid growing fears that terrorists may be using Mexico as a base camp before heading to Arizona, Texas and California. A string of alarming incidents has convinced Bush administration officials that lax immigration rules, designed to cope with the huge numbers of illegal entrants from Mexico, have become a significant loophole in the war on terror. Over the past month, border agents from Arizona and Texas have anonymously reported recent encounters with dozens of Arab men, who have made their way across the 2,000-mile Mexican...

The Department of Homeland Security wants to restrict the U.S. Border Patrol's arrest of illegal aliens in the nation's interior, concerned that the recent apprehension of 450 illegals by agents in inland areas of Southern California failed to consider the "sensitivities" of those detained. According to department sources, a formal written policy under review would limit Border Patrol arrests to areas along the nation's 7,000 miles of international border and give U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) the responsibility for enforcing immigration laws in the nation's interior. But ICE officials have acknowledged that it has neither the manpower nor the...

Well, some snot nosed, wide assed, chicken livered politician asked me here today to speak on fighting a more “sensitive” war. Apparently there are some people in this world today that think we should be able to fight and win a war without hurting anyone’s feelings. NEVER IN MY LIFE HAVE I HEARD SUCH HORSE DUNG!! What kind of a half assed war are you fighting?

Kerry's sensitive approach to the War on Terror has given me pause to ponder... would Kerry turn our military into a bunch of, ummmm, SAPS???

MIDI - BLOWING IN THE WIND - first version How many times have we been mean to them.....causing them to be hating us (tell me) How many times were we p***ing them off...so they'd want to blow up a bus (tell me) How many times were they cutting off heads...and we made too much of a fuss Well, the answer, my friends, we must fight sensitive We must fight our wars more sensitive How many times did we laugh at the towels...that they wear on top of their head (tell me) How many times were we mocking their men...for...

(Talon News) -- Vice President Dick Cheney continued to pound away at Democratic presidential candidate Sen. John Kerry (D-MA) during an appearance in Dayton, Ohio. Cheney has been skeptical of Kerry's commitment to the war on terror and is using the senator's record and words to make his point. The vice president seized upon a phrase Kerry uttered in a speech to the Journalists of Color "Unity Conference" last week to launch Thursday's broadside. The Massachusetts senator told the minority journalists that he would wage a "more sensitive" war on terror. Cheney said, "America has been in too many wars...

Out on the campaign trail, John Kerry has stated that if he were elected president, he would fight a more ''thoughtful and sensitive war'' against the terrorists. After the shock of the ignorance of this statement passed, laughter followed. A lot of laughter followed. Perhaps some background is in order. First, who is the enemy? Many seem to be working under the misguided impression that if one man named Osama bin Laden is hunted down and killed, this war will be over. After all, when Hitler put a bullet in his brain, the war in Europe ended. Would it not...

MIDI - I'D LIKE TO TEACH THE WORLD TO SING I'd like to teach the terrorists that we are really nice We should care for their feelings...maybe we should say that twice We know they have a point of view that we should all respect On things we've done to anger them, we really should reflect Perhaps we should take our dish towels and wrap them on our head If we show solidarity, they might not want us dead Let's be sensitive...we have so much to give Please don't be mad that we've done bad...praise Allah, let us live...

The thoughtful and sensitive war of John F. Kerry Recently, Democrat presidential nominee, John F. Kerry told Americans that he would fight the war on terror in a more sensitive and thoughtful way. Are we able to see on the political battlefield, by his campaign words and actions just what he means by thoughtful and sensitive? As John F. Kerry recently praised his Hollywood (Whoopi Goldberg) campaign fundraiser supporters for being what America is all about, one could not miss how thoughtful and sensitive he was. Moreover, as he directed speakers at the Democrat Convention to do as they please...

The Metrosexual Superpower By Parag Khanna July/August 2004 The stylish European Union struts past the bumbling United States on the catwalk of global diplomacy. According to Michael Flocker's 2003 bestseller, The Metrosexual Guide to Style: A Handbook for the Modern Man, the trendsetting male icons of the 21st century must combine the coercive strengths of Mars and the seductive wiles of Venus. Put simply, metrosexual men are muscular but suave, confident yet image-conscious, assertive yet clearly in touch with their feminine sides. Just consider British soccer star David Beckham. He is married to former Spice Girl Victoria “Posh” Adams, but...

The Marines were hoping to lull Fallujah and al-Anbar province into a state of well-being by passing out $540 million in rebuilding funds, and showing off a more educated attitude about Arab sensitivities than they believed their U.S. Army predecessors displayed. Before returning to Iraq, the Marines took a crash course in cultural training that included a video teleconference with an Arabic studies professor and the distribution of a culture handbook with tips warning against showing the soles of their feet or eating with their left hands. Around three dozen Marines from one unit took a three week intensive language...
