Political handicappers are labeling Senate Democrats as the favorites to keep their majority, but Democratic senators themselves are worried the polls may be flawed in their favor just as they were in 2016 and 2020. The lawmakers acknowledge the political environment looks much better for their chances than it did on Memorial Day before the Supreme Court struck down Roe v. Wade and the right to an abortion.

See these polls. It does not look all that good. I really expected both Carnahan and Johnson to be down at this point. The Hutchison race in Arkansas and the close race in Texas is just very surprising to me. Can anyone cheer me up?
