Two young teenage girls have been charged with felony murder after killing a man in DC during an armed carjacking. Instead of fleeing the scene after the car crashed and rolled on its side, one of the girls began looking for her cellphone that was in the vehicle — while walking nonchalantly past their victim’s body. The girls, both black, are only 13 and 15 years old. Their Pakistani victim, Mohammad Anwar, 66, of Springfield, Virginia, was driving for Uber Eats when the girls attempted to steal his car and tased him.

Local reports say that six people are believed to have been killed by a shooter at a Colorado grocery store as video captured multiple people lying wounded inside and outside the supermarket. While police have not confirmed any deaths, Boulder authorities said in a tweet that the incident unfolded just before 3pm local time at a King Soopers grocery store.

A fight that erupted over snow shoveling allegedly led to a Pennsylvania man shooting two of his neighbors to death, authorities said. Police in El Paso, Texas, are responding Saturday to an active shooter in the area of the Cielo Vista Mall, the agency tweeted. "Scene is still active," police wrote, adding, "avoid the area" around Hawkins and Gateway East boulevards. At least three businesses in the area are on lockdown. Three Walmart employees took refuge at a Landry's Seafood house, restaurant manager Oscar Collazo told CNN. The women appeared "shook up" but not injured. A horrifying incident involving an altercation between two women in Georgia led to the death of a 3-month-old baby after the child was dropped on the ground during the fight. Surveillance footage showed the moment the baby fell from his mother’s arms onto the pavement as onlookers jumped in to break up the brawl and pick up the baby from the ground. "We want to make people aware of a development in our lives. As our family and close friends know, after a long period of loving exploration and trial separation, we have decided to divorce and continue our shared lives as friends," the tweet says.
