'Remember in the Lion King when Scar cheated to win the title as king? And the pride land was overrun by the hyenas? And all of the lions lost everything they had built and maintained?' the outgoing president's eldest son wrote on his Instagram Story on Tuesday night. 'Just asking. No reason,' he added. In addition to predicting that America would take a dark turn under Biden's leadership, Don Jr's reference also suggested that the Democrat took his power in criminal fashion. While Scar took over the Pride Lands by killing his brother King Mufasa, Don Jr, his father and...

A woman from Northumberland, England, says she's thankful to be cancer-free after her face was "forever changed" by a chickenpox scar. Louise Thorell, now 32, said she came down with the chickenpox at age 5, but it wasn’t until decades later, in 2018, that a facial scar left behind from the illness took on a “waxier,” tougher texture, Media Drum World reported. Thorell, who has a family history of skin cancer, was referred to a specialist who diagnosed her with basal cell carcinoma, the most common form of skin cancer, typically caused by exposure to ultraviolet radiation from the sun...

While watching a Denver television station interview with Hillary Clinton I noticed what looked like a scar at the base of her neck from intubation or surgery or ??. Because the outfit sort of covers it, I googled for other pictures of her and some do seem to confirm this. Does anyone know about any health issues here?

Reports have surfaced that President Barack Obama is very loyal to his barber. The President is a man of the common people, the report tells its listeners. He hangs out with regular folks, like his barber for example. The President has been using the same Chicago based barber, who goes by the name Zariff, for the past 17 years. According to German Public Radio, the President flies Zariff from Chicago to DC for a trim every two weeks. The president allegedly personally funds these trips. President Obama obviously also does not care much about the massive carbon footprint his haircuts...

Depicts the use of "paramedic camouflage" to cover tatoos. Didn't even know they still made the stuff, but I used to use it to cover hideous scars years ago. This young man's plight is a sad one, although he did it to himself and has no-one to blame but himself. He will regret this as he gets older.

Sarah Obama Said Barack Obama Jr. Was An Orphan in Kenya [Note: Go to http://jeffersonsrebels.blogspot.com/2011/04/sarah-obama-said-barack-obama-was.html to view screen shot images of cited articles, and to follow text links.] ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Sarah Obama said that Barack Obama passed through her hands as an orphan. How could that possibly happen? Below you will find a fairly recent but undated article about Sarah Obama's humanitarian work with orphans and other vulnerable children over the course of her life. In the Catholic Relief Services article, Mama Sarah, as she's affectionately called, opened her simple home to dozens of children "over the last 40 years." In...

The source for the following information is comment #3 at the url linked above: Robin says - "There is a holiday which Shiite Muslims celebrate called Ashura, during this holiday the parents will use a dagger to make a cut on the scalp of their young child from the ear to the top of the scalp. The bleeding has a religious symbolic meaning that has something to do with a special blessing for the child by an imam." "Several months ago, in a comment section for an article written about Obama and his scar is where I learned of this."

DOCTRINE OF THE HOLOCAUST Eph 954, 12/13/88; 4/24/83; 5/29/83 Rev 12:13 A. Definition of Holocaust. 1. Holocaust means devastation. It includes all persecution of the Jews or the violent expression of anti-Semitism. 2. Anti-Semitism is evil. It is motivated by Satan himself. His objective is to destroy all Jews on the earth prior to the Second Advent of Christ so that Christ cannot fulfill the unconditional covenants to Israel. 3. Degeneracy is the decline from normal or superior standards to inferior or subnormal standards. Degeneracy is loss of integrity, resulting in a state of deterioration; it is the process of...

….From personal experience, I just gotta say these weapons rock. I fired the SCAR Heavy and Light at FNHs range near Fredericksburg, Va., several months ago and fell particularly in love with the SCAR Heavy. The gas/piston system has a great thunk-thunk mechanical feel to it and the 7.62 caliber heavy packs a heck of a punch. The SCAR Light is easy to fire, very adjustable, and the barrels are easy to interchange — creating basically a whole new weapon for each variation. [....] FNH says the Mk-16 and Mk-17 are the first assault rifles to be procured through a...

An unconventional Belgian assault rifle is emerging as the favorite of U.S. special operations forces looking for more firepower to turn the tide in Afghanistan. The Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle — also known as SCAR — is intended redress the shortcomings of the M-4, an updated version of the M-16 which has been in service since the mid-1960s. The U.S. military's workhorse rifle did well in Iraq, where much of the fighting was in urban settings. But its light rounds have underperformed in Afghanistan, where the Taliban tend to rely on deadly long-range fire. An Army study found...

Belgium-based firearms manufacturer FN Herstal hereby refutes the allegations recently found on the web that USSOCOM abandoned the 5.56 version of the SCAR rifle and reconfirms USSOCOM's decision to acquire the full FN SCAR family of weapons, including the 5.56mm rifle. The FN SCAR family of weapons consists of the 5.56mm SCAR rifle, 7.62mm SCAR rifle and 40mm LV Enhanced Grenade Launcher Module (respectively designated as MK 16, MK 17 and MK 13 by USSOCOM). These three components were developed by FN Herstal in close cooperation with USSOCOM and have each met all the operational and fielding tests required by...

In a surprising reversal that follows years of effort to design a one-of-a-kind commando rifle, the U.S. military's Special Operations Command has abruptly decided to abandon the new SOCOM Combat Assault rifle – the "SCAR," as the rifle is commonly known – in favor of previously-fielded carbines. Details provided exclusively to Military.com reveal that SOCOM, the Tampa-based command that oversees the training and equipping of SEALs, Green Berets, Air Force Special Tactics Teams and Marine SOC groups, will stop purchasing the 5.56 mm Mk-16 Special Operations Forces Combat Assault Rifle and might require all units who now have them to...

The SCAR is the first new assault rifle procured by the U.S. Military through a full and open competition since the M16 trials were held in the mid-1960s. (McLean, VA) —FNH USA, LLC received notification from the USSOCOM Program Executive Office—SOF Warrior (PEO—SW) that the SCAR Acquisition Decision Memorandum (ADM) was approved and signed on April 14, 2010, moving this FN Herstal (FN) program into the Milestone C phase. This decision authorizes the production and deployment of the Special Operations Forces (SOF) Combat Assault Rifle (SCAR) MK 16 and MK 17, as well as the Enhanced Grenade Launcher Module (EGLM)...

BOSTON - Sen. Edward M. Kennedy, the liberal lion of the Senate and haunted bearer of the Camelot torch after two of his brothers fell to assassins' bullets, has died at his home in Hyannis Port after battling a brain tumor. He was 77. For nearly a half-century in the Senate, Kennedy was a steadfast champion of the working class and the poor, a powerful voice on health care, civil rights, and war and peace. To the American public, though, he was best known as the last surviving son of America's most glamorous political family, the eulogist of a clan...

Another SCAR sighting folks! This time -- and a nice confirmation of my sourcing on the first equipping units -- its a pic of some Rangers who'd dropped by a NASCAR event this past weekend. The Joes from 1st Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment were honored at the Coca Cola 600 at Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte, NC, among other services over the Memorial Day weekend.

Two years after completing field testing, the new American assault rifle, SCAR, has been issued to a battalion of U.S. Army Rangers, who are headed for Afghanistan. SCAR (Special operations forces Combat Assault Rifle) was a SOCOM (Special Operations Command) effort to develop a new assault rifle that had some of the characteristics of the (now abandoned) U.S. Army XM-8 rifle. SOCOM had the money, and authority to develop their own weapons. And SCAR is mainly for use by SOCOM troops. . SOCOM wanted a weapon that did everything the XM-8 did, and a little more. Back in 2003, SOCOM...

Perhaps the single most exciting thing that happened at NDIA International Infantry & Joint Services Small Arms Systems Symposium 2008--away from the firing range, of course--was a confrontation between Jim Battaglini (Retired Marine Corps Maj. Gen. James R. Battaglini) of Colt Defense and U.S. Air Force Col. Robert Mattes, the director of the Comparative Test Office for the Deputy Undersecretary of Defense for Advanced Systems and Concepts, while Col. Mattes was giving a speech and promoting the idea of an open competition to determine the best infantry/assault carbine that can be supplied to U.S. military infantry warfighters. Specifically, the purpose...
