While restaurant pizza seems to have the perfect ratio of gooey, salty cheese to hearty tomato sauce, getting that same balance with homemade pizza can often be tricky. It can be easy to slip into the idea that there is no difference between pizza sauce and marinara. There are a lot of different tomato sauces out there (it is one of the principal parts of Italian cuisine after all) and the ways the ingredients and preparation vary between each one can be very small. You might understand that arrabbiata sauce is spicy from red pepper, but what in the world is the difference between any of those other tomato sauce choices and pomodoro? Pizza sauce seems like even more of a misnomer since you could put any number...

He may have been killed in a simmering beef that started over duck sauce. It is the secret ingredient of many a homemade meal. But the precise contents of this tangy relish itself have remained a mystery. Until now. After more than 170 years, the original recipe for Lea and Perrins Worcestershire Sauce has been revealed. It was found in notes dating from the mid-1800s that were dumped in a skip by the sauce factory. Brian Keogh, a former Lea and Perrins accountant, discovered the notes, which were neatly written in sepia ink in two leather-bound folios, and rescued them. Today, the label on bottles of the sauce lists vinegar, molasses, sugar, salt, anchovies,...

For Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing, if his ministers also he transformed as the ministers of righteousness . . . —2 Corinthians 11:14-15 Remember when Obama went to Cairo to deplore the “tension between the United States and Muslims around the world”? That tension, he said, was “exploited” by “violent extremists” in a “small but potent minority of Muslims.” As a result, some Americans had come to view Islam as “inevitably hostile not only to America and Western countries, but also to human rights.” And this, he said, “has bred...

Historical behavioral data ignored in polling is criminal. This from a Criminal. Chumps we are in america to have the CEO himself, proclaim, admit, ....how about “taking the winds out of the sail.” by framing exactly what he is doing,....This is a smoke screen. Clearing his path for what might have turned out different should he not make this very proclamation of his “model.” I will explain, so that,...believe me...all of can understand. Ignoring psychographics and replacing the primary element for quantification with demographics is pure 100% MANipulation. The only way to most accurately measure the liklyhood of how people...

When somebody from the Herald used to get a job at the Globe, we’d always say he was going to the velvet coffin. Now, I guess it would be more accurate to just describe the money-losing rag as the coffin. The New York Times bought the bible of political correctness 15 years ago for $1.1 billion. And now, according to The Wall Street Journal, the Globe has fallen into the red and it can’t get up. And the pompous, pampered poodles in the newsroom can’t blame their financial meltdown solely on Craigslist, Google, or even George W. Bush. It’s finally...

Zogby and the Wall Street Journal released a poll only two weeks after their last one. It represents a loss of 3.5 for Casey and a gain of 1.2% for Santorum. The Romanelli factor is unknown. Casey's lead has dropped from 9% in July and August to 4.1% today. The margin of error for poll was 3.3%. The polling was done between August 29th and September 5th, which means that only the last three days of polling would have covered the Meet the Press debate. The Casey performance's effect on this poll may be minimal. A 4.1% difference is closer...
