I have wanted to post something about one of my close friends Cori who is dying of Stage 4 Carcinosarcoma over the last year. She has gone through 4 rounds of chemo over the last 12 months and is now doing a new treatment and chemo as tumors grew during the last treatment. She is 37, married with 2 children and is hands down one of the most giving and kindest souls you would ever meet. A defense lawyer is calling for calm after death threats have been made against teenagers charged in the death of 15-year-old Phoebe Prince, who committed suicide after she was allegedly bullied by schoolmates. Why don't we start a letter writing campaign to the court to encourage them to give solid, real sentences to these monsters and not give them a slap on the wrist? By doing that we'll ensure that justice is done.

Hello all, Just a short update & a praise report. Granny is still in the hospital and doing much better. The doctor said that he expects her to go back to rehab in a couple of days. This is due to all you out there that has been so kind as to pray. Please continue to pray that Granny will continue to progress & that no more strokes will plauge her. Pray that God will put his hand on her heart & protect her. Pray also for my family that we will not give up hope. Praise God!!

Hello all, My Granny was moved to rehab on Friday & had another massive stroke on Saturday. She has been unresponsive since then, but will squeeze your hand. Just an update to the fine folks that are lifting prayers up for my Granny, Daphane Jenkins. They are moving her to the rehab place today to start helping her get on her feet. An update on how my Granny is doing. The Lord definitely works through prayer. Granny is talking, sitting up, watching t.v. (Fox News, thank you), and doing much better. She keeps saying she wants to go back to rehab so she can get stronger. Prayers answered. She is scheduled to go back today to rehab (which is outside the hospital). The doctors & nurses are flaberghasted at her recovery & of how much she has recovered. We tell them it is the Lord and prayer that is getting her through this.
