An emergency prayer request for a member of our congregation: A young lady named Havanna has been rushed to the hospital with a ruptured appendix. Please lift her up in prayer for healing.
If one of my Jewish friends, whether traditional or Messianic, would be so kind as to post the benediction for healing from the Amidah for Havanna bat Sarah, I would greatly appreciate it.

I had a ruptured appendix when I was fifteen that wasn't detected properly, became infected and very nearly killed me. Luckily things have improved a lot since then and hopefully she should be fine and back on her feet within a few days.

I should know, my daughter almost died from a burst appendix a few years ago, if it hadn’t been for modern medicine and anti-biotics she would not have made it.

I just got a message from my daughter that my father is in very serious condition. Her message included the “not if but when” notification with advice to make arrangements as he lives in Iowa and I’m in NC.
