<p>Athans doesn't waste time at work either. For about a year, he's been running a new nonprofit group, Democracy Radio, that says it seeks to restore balance to talk radio. The group's goal is to create and promote programs that bring what it calls a "progressive" perspective to the airwaves.</p>
