A dozen people may have been murdered by Islamic terrorists in Paris Wednesday morning, but The New York Times can’t help but note the real tragedy behind the shooting: the growth of Islamophobia. (RELATED: The Ever-Growing List Of Cowards Refusing To Publish The Mohammad Cartoons)The attack on French satirical magazine Charlie Hebdo for its publication of images of Muhammad is “sure to accelerate the growth of anti-Islamic sentiment in Europe, feeding far-right nationalist parties like France’s National Front,” frets Times reporters Steven Erlanger and Katrin Bennhold in an article entitled “Paris Attack Reflects a ‘Dangerous Moment’ for Europe.”[Snip] The Times...

Am I the only one that has noticed that while everyone else, when refering to the "video" the phraseology is, "a video that is offensive to Muslims and/or Islam". BUT, when Obama speaks about it he ALWAYS refers to it as a video that is, "offensive to the prophet Mohammed". What is the code that us Westerners are missing?
  • Who Was a Greater Threat to World Peace - Prophet Mohammed or Osama Bin Laden?

Has anyone mentioned the fact that, Osama Bin Laden's only crime, was that he was faithful to his religious beliefs? Osama was killed for strictly practising his religion, as instructed by his moon god Allah, and his role model, the mad Prophet Mohammed. The Quran instructs Muslims to kill infidels, as part of the requirement to be a good Muslim. The Quran and Hadith also instruct Muslims to beat their wives, keep slaves, and forcibly convert non-Muslims by waging jihad on them. Many Muslims feel that the killing of Osama and his followers, is depriving Muslims of their religious freedom...

Islamabad - Another alleged blasphemer has become a victim of Pakistan's controversial religious laws, media reported on Saturday. The killing occurred on Friday, two days after the assassination of the minority affairs minister who had criticised the nation's blasphemy laws. The Dawn newspaper said Mohammad Imran was killed by masked gunmen in a shop near a bus stop in Danada village of Rawalpindi, a garrison city adjacent to the capital Islamabad. Imran had been charged with blasphemy in April 2009 for allegedly making insulting remarks about prophet Mohammed during a discussion in a village cafe. He and another defendant were...
  • Julian Phillips, Muslim Rioting Apologist: "Different Religion, Different Culture"

by Mark Finkelstein February 5, 2006 - 07:51 Hey, I'm a multi-culturalist. I'm happy to see people observing their various religious holidays, from Christmas to Chanukah to Ramadan. But somehow, my multicultural enthusiasms run out of steam when it comes to . . . condoning the sacking of foreign embassies. Not Julian Phillips. The co-host of Fox & Friends Weekend blithely condoned the current rioting and burning of foreign embassies around the world by Muslims angered by depictions of the Prophet Mohammed. His explanation-by-way-of-excuse: "different religion, different culture." In the course of the show's opening segment, Fox's Yasmina Ykelenstam reported...

Analysis:Cartoon row partly Danes' fault By ROLAND FLAMINIUPI Chief International CorrespondentWASHINGTON, Feb. 3 (UPI) -- In September, when the conservative Danish newspaper Jyllands-Posten published satirical cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed depicted as a terrorist, angry Arab ambassadors in Copenhagen requested a meeting with Prime Minister Anders Fogh Rasmussen. They were demanding severe punishment of those responsible, as well as an official apology from the Danish government. Rasmussen refused to see them, arguing that the Danish government doesn't interfere with the press. By the time Rasmussen was forced to change his tune Friday demonstrators across the Islamic world were burning...

BAGHDAD (AFP) - The name of Saddam Hussein has been removed from the list of descendants of Islam's Prophet Mohammed, the head of the union of Ashrafs, who guard the genealogical tree, told AFP. Al-Sherif Najeh Mohammed Hassan al-Faham al-Aaraji admitted that the ousted dictator had been able to cheat despite the great value and honour attached to the line which is guarded in Baghdad. "Saddam had forced the origin experts to falsify his genealogical tree so that it went back to the Prophet," he said. "We will inform all the experts, and particularly those who yielded to Saddam and...
