The family of the five-year-old boy who was subjected to racial slurs from a white woman during a viral altercation at a Minnesota playground are calling for her to be charged. Video of the woman, identified as Shiloh Hendrix, was recorded at Soldiers Field Memorial Park showing the white tattooed woman holding her toddler while being confronted by a man who accuses her of calling a young black boy the 'N-word.' GALESBURG - The Galesburg City Council on Monday passed a ban on indoor furniture being used outdoors. An ordinance to restrict the use of upholstered furniture on patios, balconies and front porches passed 7-1 with no discussion. First Ward Alderman Mike Spah cast the sole vote against the ordinance. After the meeting, Spah said he would have voted for the ordinance if he thought it would make any inroads at getting citizens to clean up their yards and their porches.
