Our site is devoted to cold fusion, a controversial discovery in physics. It was first reported in 1926 by Paneth and Peters, and sporadically thereafter. In 1989 Fleischmann and Pons repored much more definitive results than any previous researchers, and they are generally given credit for the discovery.
