BRUNSWICK, Md. - Authorities say a two-year-old Virginia boy died after being bitten by a pit bull-mastiff mix at a family gathering in Maryland. The child's family says the 2-year-old lives in Fauquier County and was in Maryland for a birthday celebration for his grandmother. The boy had been playing with the dog all day long, and as the family was getting ready to leave, the dog, which belonged to the grandmother, attacked the boy. The Riverside County Animal Services in California is seeking an arrest warrant for a ruthless pet owner who abandoned his Pitbull dog by tossing him over a razor wire fence at a remote cell tower. The horrifying incident was caught on camera as it occur on December 15, 2022, at the California cell tower. Riverside County Animal Services on Wednesday, January 4, 2023, shared the disturbing footage that shows the man hurling the 8-year-old pit bull over the sharp fence and walking away nonchalantly.

A man is recovering after he was attacked by his neighbor's dog. The attack happened near 35th and Gore around 8:00 a.m. Monday. An investigation is underway following the attack. Police said a man went outside and was bitten by his neighbor's dog, he then went back inside to get a gun and shot the Staffordshire Terrier, more commonly known as a pit bull. The dog was impounded and is now in quarantine at a local vet while its owner is facing charges.
