A diversity day at a secondary school in Warwickshire ended in upset and apologies after a 12-year-old girl wearing a union flag dress was prevented from delivering a speech she had written about British culture. Pupils at Bilton school in the village of Bilton, Rugby, were invited to take part in “culture day”, dedicated to “recognising and celebrating the rich cultural diversity within our school community”. Children were encouraged to wear outfits that reflected their nationality or family heritage to the event last Friday. ............................. In a post on Facebook last Friday, Field wrote: “On my way to collect my...

While we're still a year away from the America 250 celebration, The Radical Left is already melting down that President Trump is actually making an effort to make America 250... Pro-American. The hard left publications Mother Jones and The Atlantic dropped their rage posts, and they read exactly as one would expect. Mother Jones offers How MAGA Took Over America’s 250th Birthday. Amanda Moore and Dan Friedman waste no time, pointing out that the Army's 250th birthday celebration parade finished just steps away from Trump's January 6th election integrity rallying speech. Even more sinister, both were organized by the same...

Today, members of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) gutted the Institute for Museum and Library Services (IMLS). As of this afternoon, all staff members have been placed on administrative leave. They received a letter from the Director of Human Resources that the leave would be paid for 90 days and that no one will be allowed on IMLS property during that time... The union representing IMLS staff, AFGE Local 3403, indicated that the decision to fire staff came after a short meeting between DOGE and IMLS leadership. Everyone working at IMLS was required to return government property before exiting...

I’d like to put into words just how much the election results in the United States mean to me even though I’m not an American. I don't cry much, but I found, to my own surprise, that I was choking up on Tuesday night as the returns rolled in. I was born and raised in Canada, where we don’t engage in the level of overt and unabashed patriotism of our southern neighbours. In fact, while most people spoke warmly of Americans themselves, their displays of patriotism were seen to be a bit too much, too over-the-top. Garish. “Sure, we get...

No matter how much you disdain and despise the mainstream media…it is not enough. Not nearly enough. Case in point: the newly rebranded “Minnesota Star Tribune” recently ran an article—on the front page of the ‘A’ section—about the history of the KKK in Minnesota. The headline read “Her mission: Documenting history of KKK in Minnesota.” Clever. The piece never mentioned the Democrat party, never once noted that the party was the home of the KKK, the pro-slavery party, the Jim Crow party, the anti-integration party, the anti-reconstruction party. Misinformation. Disinformation. Mal-information. Lying by omission. Shameful. Instead, the article hinted throughout...

Good morning! Today's release is another book but as a collection of short poems its a little on the lighter side. At the time that I picked this one up I needed a few more works to have as actively being managed, but now here it is. To be honest, this author had been unknown to me and still mostly is, but there are some interesting things in here with roughly 70 poems. I hope you can find some enjoyment. https://librivox.org/poems-of-american-patriotism-by-brander-matthews/

MSNBC host Rachel Maddow said on her network’s breaking news coverage of President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the presidential race that she is “blown away” by his patriotism. Maddow said, “I mean, this is just, this is history at large, you know? We all will remember where we were and what we were doing at this moment. What a man, what a patriot. Um, what is selfless devotion to your country. He has been a phenomenal president. He brought us back from COVID. He gave us the best recovery from COVID of any major nation on earth at a time...

Leading up to the presidential election of 2020 we began to hear quite a lot about “Patriotism”, but we did not hear much about the definition of that word. Patriotism is one of those words that seems so self-evident, that it almost seems unnecessary to wonder about the definition, but perhaps we should do so now, as we are again headed into another of the ‘most important elections’ in American history.

A California seventh-grade student, Jimmy Heyward, who recently went viral after his principal censored his patriotic speech, has now been banned from attending the school next year. The Gateway Pundit reported last month that Heyward was a student at Saint Bonaventure Catholic School, where Principal Mary Flock reportedly told him to edit his campaign speech for the role of Commissioner of School Spirit and Patriotism, instructing him to remove “all parts about patriotism.” The incident was first shared by LibsofTiktok, who wrote, “This is Jimmy. A middle schooler in California… His principal allegedly made him change his speech and remove...

As the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation commemorates the 20th anniversary of the former president's death, both the pressing challenges facing Americans in 2024 and the milestone 80th anniversary of D-Day are front of mind for foundation leaders. "It's valuable to reflect on the tremendous successes of the Reagan presidency and to draw lessons for today," foundation President David Trulio told Fox News Digital in an interview. "So, it's important to recall that President Reagan won the Cold War. He unleashed an enormous economic boom. He helped restore America's pride in itself, and he restored and earned the respect that other...

Don Feder calls gov't schools 'treason factories churning out a steady stream of anti-Americanism' I make a pilgrimage to the Concord Battlefield every year around April 19, the anniversary of the battle that marked the beginning of our War of Independence. I think of it as the place where America began. Imagine my dismay on learning that the town of Concord, Massachusetts, is ashamed of its heritage. In January, it removed three historical markers, which had been in place since 1930, that commemorated the founding of the Massachusetts Bay Colony 300 years earlier. The move was based on a recommendation...

On MSNBC “award-winning investigative journalist” (from Politico) Heidi Przybyla said this recently:Remember when Trump ran in 2016? A lot of the mainline evangelicals wanted nothing to do with the divorced real-estate mogul who cheated on his wife with a porn star and all of that, right? So what happened was, he was surrounded by this more extremist element. You’re going to hear words like Christian Nationalism, like the new apostolic reformation. These are groups that you should get very schooled on because they have a lot of power in Trump’s circle. And the one thing that unites all of them...

t’s hard to understand what Israel is going through without taking measure of the yawning chasm between Israel’s patriotic citizenry and its progressive elites. For most Israelis, a powerful instinct of self-preservation kicked in on Oct. 7, and they responded with the rage and determination one would expect from a healthy society. Israel’s progressive elites also responded as one would expect: Regaining their balance after the initial shock, they fell back on their usual wariness of patriotism. For them, the instinct of self-preservation itself is part of the problem, not part of the solution. This chasm has vast political implications,...

Ron DeSantis has further alienated the America First conservatives he hoped to win over from Donald Trump’s base by disparaging January 6th protestors, denying they were motivated by patriotism.Speaking at a CNN town hall, the Florida Governor was asked if “the January 6th insurrections display[ed] patriotism, as some of them claim they did” by an audience member.“No, of course not,” DeSantis replied immediately. “I mean, that was not a good day for the country. I think the media has taken that, and I think the left has taken that, and really tried to politicize it, but it was not a...
