The Oklahoma State Department of Education is introducing a new initiative to assess educators in U.S. Civics, Constitutional Principles, American History, and the biological differences between boys and girls.

The Oklahoma State Department of Education is introducing a new initiative to assess educators who are relocating to the state from other states with ” progressive education policies”. According to State Superintendent Ryan Walters, the assessment will evaluate teachers’ knowledge in areas such as U.S. Civics, Constitutional Principles, American History, and the biological differences between boys and girls.”

The initiative is the latest in Walters’ push to implement education policies aligned with conservative values and what he refers to as an “America First” approach to classroom instruction.

“We’re sending a clear message: Oklahoma’s schools will not be a haven for woke agendas pushed in places like California and New York,” Walters said in a press release. “If you want to teach here, you’d better know the Constitution, respect what makes America great and understand basic biology. We’re raising a generation of patriots, not activists, and I’ll fight tooth and nail to keep leftist propaganda out of our classrooms.”

Part of me wants to agree, but the thing is, these "teachers" know right from wrong. They willfully choose to go down the degenerate path and teach their ideologies into impressionable young ones that they come across.

I guarantee you the wokest libtard teacher would pass this test with flying colors because they know enough to get in there, lie their butts off to get the job, and then start spreading their evil.

Most woke teachers are not that smart.
Look at how terribly US students are doing as compared to South Korea, Japan, Taiwan Singapore etc. And America spends more per head than anyone else. The quicker AI takes over most of the teaching, the better.

I don’t know - some of them libtard teachers are really stupid and illiterate...when our daughter was in2nd grade, we would put a movie on the VCR and she would be telling us how the movie went - turned out her ‘teacher” had a lot of “bad days” and would roll in a TV and VCR to keep the kids occupied. Then the daughter would come home with spelling papers with correct words marked off and wrong words substituted - she said she knew how to spell them but the teacher insisted they write them down as she wrote them on the board....we and others complained and a friend who also taught at the school said they all had to be tested - and the teacher in question was not allowed to fail - she had two “proctors” standing over her as she “took the test”

An understandable concern, but if you’ve seen one Charlie Kirk video you’ll know the typical college grad (more so college grads with teaching degrees) has virtually no civics knowledge and less constitutional knowledge.
