In an appearance on the Fox News Channel’s “Hannity” on Tuesday, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin told Sean Hannity that the reason why she didn’t endorse presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney during a Las Vegas speech this weekend was because she couldn’t. The Daily Caller had pointed out on Tuesday that former Palin did not even mention Romney in her speech. But, Palin told Hannity, that doesn’t mean that the 2008 Republican vice-presidential nominee isn’t supporting the former Massachusetts governor. “There was a reason I did not mention Gov. Romney in my speech at the Americans for Prosperity Foundation event and...

LAS VEGAS — Sarah Palin on Friday condemned President Barack Obama’s new immigration policy as both unconstitutional and cravenly political. “He’s absolutely pandering to a specific demographic that no doubt polls have shown … he would be helped in this demographic if he just makes this move,” the former Alaska governor told POLITICO late Friday as she left the Venetian hotel after a speech to the RightOnline conference. “And I say that because all of President Obama’s actions are based on polls that are provided him that would lead him to believe he can garner support for his reelection bid.”...

I can’t wait to rush out tomorrow and buy my own DVD of The Undefeated … Meanwhile, Sandra Peppers has some great ideas for hosting viewing parties and more. This is a do-it-yourself effort. Everybody can play a valuable role. As Todd Palin commented on the interview with Steve Bannon last night … he was “blown away” at how much of Governor Palin’s record was covered, and covered well, in just a few short hours. Guest Submission by Sandra Peppers I know a lot of C4P peeps and “Palinistas” are disappointed and unhappy that Governor Palin has not announced her...

Governor Palin has said many times that you don’t need a title to make a difference. Amen to those words. Our Founding Fathers created a Republic where it was not the people with the titles and the influence who were supposed to matter the most, but rather the individual, the common man. It was “We the People,” those of us without titles, that were meant to have the power to govern our own lives. That is the American way. <snip>I won’t say that she is the only one that can beat President Obama, because that is not true. Many...

Since Governor Palin’s On the Record appearance Tuesday night, the blogosphere and media outlets have been buzzing with opinions that she’s not running for president in 2012. Her conversation with Greta Van Susteren left some to ponder, perhaps more than ever, if she has decided not to relinquish her freedom–not to be shackled–for the sake of a title. Comments left in various and sundry places revealed that some people were angry, some were confused, some were frustrated, while some remained encouraged. No one was unmoved, however. No one was without some type of reaction. No one was neutral. It was,...

Acknowledging that "decisions have to be made" quickly, Sarah Palin on Tuesday laid out a case for not running for president in 2012. Appearing on Fox News' On the Record, a favorite venue, Palin appeared to be talking herself out of the race in an interview with host Greta Van Susteren. "Is a campaign too shackling?" she mused. As the GOP's 2008 vice presidential nominee, Palin said she felt encumbered by "handlers." Running for office "prohibits the freedom one needs to really make a difference," said the self-described "rogue" politician. Added Palin: "You don't need a title to make a...

Last night I wrote my thoughts on just what might possibly be going on in the Palin camp (which we know is comprised of Sarah and Todd): Have you watched her interviews over the past few months? The commentary she uses to defer the “BIG question” is either, “still contemplating the huge life-changing decision” or more famously – “do I need a title to make a difference?” It seems to me these statements are more like her “I can’t announce right here and now” rebuttal – and it’s absolutely brilliant. She keeps the world guessing, gives the media the runaround,...

Sarah Palin has been quiet recently. Surprisingly quiet. Ms. Palin, a one-time Alaska governor, is reportedly just days away from deciding whether to run for president. In the meantime, her Twitter feed and Facebook page have gone silent for the last 10 days. Her Web site has not been updated recently. And Ms. Palin has not appeared on Fox News for a week, since before the last Republican presidential debate.

Herman Cain win in the "Presidency 5" straw poll in Florida on Saturday has reset much of the narrative concerning the 2012 Republican presidential contest. Here are some questions being asked. First, was Cain's victory a reflection of the general dissatisfaction Republicans feel toward purported front-runners Mitt Romney and Rick Perry? Second, could another candidate enter the presidential contest? Third, will the Republican primary contest be a battle between the William F. Buckley rule versus the Rush Limbaugh rule? If Republicans are indeed not enthused about Messrs. Perry and Romney, one candidate could be primed to enter the race who...

But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith LOVE, endurance and gentleness. 1 Tim 6:11 We are now seeing a huge void starting to develop in the presidential race. We are obviously in need of an articulate Conservative after the display we saw on Thursday during the debates. As much as Perry makes an attractive candidate from a resume standpoint, the last thing the Republicans need is another tongue tied Texan. His performance from a verbal standpoint was a disaster as it was a debate nobody won but Rick Perry lost. There is now...

It’s been a good few weeks for Sarah Palin. Now, a new national poll shows her trailing President Obama in a head-to-head matchup by just 5 points, 44 to 49 - this, after she had trailed him by more than 20 points for most of the year. That’s better than current GOP frontrunner Rick Perry, who trails the president 41 to 50 in the same poll. According to the survey, Palin’s recent jump in support has come mostly from independents, who have lately been abandoning the president in droves. Still, she remains a controversial figure: 72 percent of Republicans and...

Sarah Palin: I am still considering running for president The State Column | Staff | Wednesday, September 21, 2011 Former Alaska governor Sarah Palin said Wednesday that she remains interested in seeking the 2012 Republican presidential nomination even as a recent poll shows a vast majority of Republican voters oppose her candidacy. “I think people are still going to be coming and going because there is still time, and I’m still one of those still considering,” Ms. Palin said during an appearance on Fox News. “There is still time…And I think on both sides of the aisle, you’re going...

Watching Palin, you know that when she does something, she only does it at 110% or more. And like most politicians, she doesn’t like to lose (see her 2008 night of the election – yeah, she was angry McCain wouldn’t let her speak, but I’m also sure deep down she was bitter over the fact that the American voters bought the whole “hope and changey” platitudes.) And obviously, she wants to fix that bitter taste from 2008. How she accomplishes that (runs, doesn’t run, etc) has been a matter of debate. The biggest hinderance you hear about Palin running for...

From Simon Conway's Facebook page: "SOURCES CLOSE TO THE CAMP..... As predicted on my show nine days ago, Sarah Palin to announce for the Presidency tomorrow (Friday) - the day Constitution Day is observed. We'll be talking about it on 540 WFLA from 6am Eastern...."

WHERE and HOWdo you think Sarah Palin will declare that she is running for President, now that we finally know WHEN she will do it? Within the last week or two, just about EVERYONE who is ANYONE in the pro-Palin community has posted online that Governor Palin will announce that she is running for President on "Constitution Day" --with virtually NONE of the traditional smackdown and/or denials coming from SarahPAC, or from any of the usual "insiders" at Team Sarah --who have generally been VERY GOOD at rumor control. So, if she really **is** getting into the race on Friday...

I guess that makes me a Scientologist, because I’ve posted repeatedly that Palin holds a special position because there is no one — not even George W. Bush — who has been the subject of the Democratic, mainstream media and left-blogosphere smear machine to the extent Palin has. So yes, I do take it personally when conservatives lash out at Palin not because of her policy positions or what she’s done or not done in her career, but with personal invective. It’s not religion, its a cold hard understanding of what is to come, and how those who call Palin...
