Need the title of a country song I heard briefly this AM. It's been driving me "nutso" all day looking for hints and artist... Towards the very end the words "I know it better" are sung...eyep that's it, the only clue *LOL*. The song has sort of a line dance pace with some slick guitar..maybe honky-tonkish.....male singer. ..and I don't know how old it is... Please give me some hints to check out

Goldman to make record bonus payout Staff at Goldman Sachs staff can look forward to the biggest bonus payouts in the firm's 140-year history after a spectacular first half of the year, sparking concern that the big investment banks which survived the credit crunch will derail financial regulation reforms. A lack of competition and a surge in revenues from trading foreign currency, bonds and fixed-income products has sent profits at Goldman Sachs soaring, according to insiders at the firm. Staff in London were briefed last week on the banking and securities company's prospects and told they could look forward to...

Hillary Clinton Blasts GOP 'Plantation' NEW YORK -- Sounding a little like a preacher, a fired-up Sen. Hillary Clinton lambasted the Bush administration and the Republican-controlled Congress during a Martin Luther King Jr. Day event, predicting the presidency "will go down in history as one of the worst" and saying the House of Representatives is run like a "plantation" where dissenting voices are squelched. "When you look at the way the House of Representatives has been run, it has been run like a plantation, and you know what I'm talking about," Clinton, D-N.Y., told the crowd at the Canaan Baptist...
  • Here's My Guess About Plamegate...

...for what it's worth (and what it's worth is about a nickel if you want inside information). My guess is: It has amounted to nothing. Special Prosecutor Fitzgerald is tying up loose ends, one of which is Judith Miller, toward whom he is hostile for reasons having nothing to do with Valerie Plame (she busted up his investigation of an Islamist terror front called the Holy Land Foundation by calling its officials for comment just before he was about to stage a midnight raid on the place). My guess: He has already determined there was no crime in the naming...

I need help in composing a reply to the following e-mail sent to me by a former co-worker who has since moved away. I started to do the job myself, but it is so full of liberal crap than I threw up my hands in disgust. I would like to take the best comments from the best minds and send back an awsome reply. Moderator - feel free to pull this if you consider it a waste of bandwidth. Anyway - here goes with the letter: Sorry, I try not to deluge people with my ramblings. But I had to...

DON'T BE FOOLED by Colin Powell. With testimony before the UN Security Council last week, the secretary of state brought many formerly ambivalent politicians and pundits into the war party. But that is a measure of how callow the entire American debate over war against Iraq has been. The question is not whether Saddam Hussein is up to no good. Powell's indictment confirmed the Iraqi's malfeasance, although with no surprises and no demonstration of immediate threat. The question, rather, is what to do about Saddam's malevolence.

  • Matt Lauer and Katie Couric: It’s your fault people. (MEGA-BARF!)

The liberal bias of Matt Lauer and Katie Couric: It’s your fault. Or it’s just the “prism” through which you the viewer perceive them, the NBC Today show duo contended Wednesday night on MSNBC’s Donahue. Lauer argued that charges of bias represent “much less, I think, our point of view than it is the point of view of the person watching the interview.” Couric agreed: “That’s true. I think really that it is sort of” a “Rorschach test” as “people really see what...they want to see from their particular frame of mind or the prism from which they’re watching.” It’s...
