U.S. military families the world over celebrated when news got out that Fort Hood shooter Nidal Hasan had his beard forcibly shaved when he reported to prison back in August of 2013, to be housed until he is executed. Army Staff Sergeant Alonzo Lunsford was interviewed on today's Laura Ingraham show. From what I gathered, the killer had a real problem getting his shots in preparation for overseas deployment. A judge has the right to order an Army psychiatrist charged in the 2009 Fort Hood shooting rampage to be forcibly shaved of his beard before his murder trial, military attorneys told an appeals court Wednesday. Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Friday an investigation into the Fort Hood shootings found the military isn't sufficiently prepared to prevent similar attacks in the future.
