President Donald Trump's tariffs on China have raised questions about the issue of rare earth minerals and their processing, but Interior Secretary Doug Burgum said Sunday that part of the dilemma lies in the "war on mining" that was waged under the administrations of former Presidents Barack Obama and Joe Biden."If you go back to the Obama/Biden administrations, we are in a war on mining in this country for anything, not just rare earth minerals," Burgum told "Fox News Sunday." "It's not just 'drill, baby, drill,' but it's 'map, baby, map.' We've got these materials in our country, so [it's...

ZURICH (Reuters) -Klaus Schwab, founder of the World Economic Forum, whose annual gathering of business and political leaders in the Swiss mountain resort of Davos became a symbol of globalisation, has resigned as chair of its trustees. The Geneva-based WEF made the announcement on Monday after revealing earlier this month that the 87-year-old Schwab, who for decades has been the face of the Davos get-together, would be stepping down, without giving a firm timeline. "Following my recent announcement, and as I enter my 88th year, I have decided to step down from the position of Chair and as a member...

The House members are Reps. Robert Garcia, of California; Maxwell Frost, of Florida; Maxine Dexter, of Oregon; and Yassamin Ansari, of Arizona. Four House Democrats have traveled to El Salvador to, in the words of one member, remind Americans that Kilmar Armando Abrego Garcia, an El Salvadoran migrant who had been living in Maryland, was wrongfully deported to his home country. “While Donald Trump continues to defy the Supreme Court, Kilmar Abrego Garcia is being held illegally in El Salvador after being wrongfully deported,” said California Rep. Robert Garcia, one of the four. “That is why we’re here – to...

The Russian president noted that initially Ukraine issued a statement dismissing the proposal "as a game with people’s lives"MOSCOW, April 21. /TASS/. Kiev initially rejected Russia's proposal for an Easter truce, but later reversed its stance following apparent external influence, President Vladimir Putin told reporters. "We all saw the initial response – they issued a statement dismissing our proposal as a game with people’s lives and similar rhetoric," Putin said. "However, it seems that someone smarter – most likely foreign handlers – advised that rejecting such initiatives would be politically disadvantageous for the Kiev regime, and they promptly changed their...

The White House has been hearing out a chorus of ideas in recent weeks for persuading Americans to get married and have more children, an early sign that the Trump administration will embrace a new cultural agenda pushed by many of its allies on the right to reverse declining birthrates and push conservative family values. One proposal shared with aides would reserve 30 percent of scholarships for the Fulbright program, the prestigious, government-backed international fellowship, for applicants who are married or have children. Another would give a $5,000 cash “baby bonus” to every American mother after delivery. A third calls...

Putting partisan politics far above patriotism (if he has any), top Democrat Rep. Jamie Raskin is outright threatening vengeance on foreign leaders who work with the Trump administration. Yes, he washes it through rhetoric about fighting “authoritarianism in our country,” but that’s simply cover for goonish threats. Raskin (D-Md.) issued it on the “Pod Save America” podcast, after progressive host Tommy Vietor cited (surely left-wing) Latin America experts as urging Democrats to warn off “any foreign government that participates in the extraordinary rendition of American citizens.” Reality check: No one is proposing any “extraordinary rendition of American citizens.”

WASHINGTON -- Four House Democratic lawmakers have traveled to El Salvador to call attention to the plight of a man the Trump administration deported to a Salvadoran prison and has refused to help return — even after the Supreme Court ruled that it was the government's duty to do so. Reps. Yassamin Ansari of Arizona, Maxine Dexter of Oregon, Maxwell Frost of Florida and Robert Garcia of California arrived in the Central American nation on Sunday to investigate the condition of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who had lived in the United States for more than a decade. The Trump administration deported...

The Biden regime let millions of unvetted illegal aliens pour into this country—wide-open gates, no questions asked. They didn’t know who was coming in. Good guys, bad guys, gangbangers, traffickers, cartel mules, murderers… it didn’t matter. 10 million of these unvetted mystery people marched across our borders. No questions asked… https://twitter.com/10minutedrill/status/1912876200470679729 They turned their heads, shrugged their shoulders, and told the American people there was nothing they could do to stop the invasion. That was a lie, of course. A massive one. Sadly, the truth is painfully clear now: this wasn’t about compassion or asylum or any of the other...

This week is significant for Christians worldwide, including myself, as we commemorate Jesus Christ’s death and sacrifice on Good Friday and celebrate his resurrection on Easter Sunday. However, the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) has announced new regulations that will severely restrict foreign missionaries in China starting May 1. Citing the need to combat “extremism” and protect national security, these measures threaten religious freedoms. Under the new regulation, foreign missionaries must obtain government approval for lectures, sermons, and group activities, facing a burdensome application process that details the date, time, location, and attendees. Additionally, the regulation includes a comprehensive set of...

Lab Leak: The True Origins of Covid-19 - The White House THE ORIGIN “The Proximal Origin of SARS-CoV-2” publication — which was used repeatedly by public health officials and the media to discredit the lab leak theory — was prompted by Dr. Fauci to push the preferred narrative that COVID-19 originated naturally. 1. The virus possesses a biological characteristic that is not found in nature. 2. Data shows that all COVID-19 cases stem from a single introduction into humans. This runs contrary to previous pandemics where there were multiple spillover events. 3. Wuhan is home to China’s foremost SARS research...

A Southern California mayor is under fire for wanting to eliminate his city’s homeless population by giving them “all the fentanyl they want” — a shocking remark he reinforced by calling for a federal “purge.” Lancaster Mayor R. Rex Parris shared his controversial views during a Feb. 25 city council meeting when a resident took issue with the city’s attempt to address the homeless crisis by “enclosing” the unhoused at an abandoned golf course near a residential neighborhood. “What I want to do is give them free fentanyl,” Parris said as he interrupted the woman’s comments, according to footage of...

This is so damn cool. NASCAR legend Greg Biffle took a trip to Black Mountain, North Carolina, for Easter Sunday, doing so with an Easter Bunny and 1,000 Easter eggs. He dropped the eggs from a helicopter for kids who were affected by Hurricane Helene. As you probably already know, North Carolina was the state hit the hardest by the storm

The announcement in a brief and carefully worded statement by Fort McCoy’s Senior Commander on Saturday, claiming the suspension was “not related to any misconduct” and that “no further details will be provided at this time.” The statement reads, “Col. Sheyla Baez Ramirez has been suspended as Garrison Commander at Fort McCoy. This suspension is not related to any misconduct. We have no further details to provide at this time while...

President Donald Trump’s deputies should stop talking about the apparent criminal record of the deported Salvadoran illegal migrant, says Sen. Chris Van Hollen (D-MD). “Don’t put everything out on social media” about deported migrant Kilmar Abrega Garcia, Van Hollen told ABC’s This Week show on April 20. The issue should be decided by judges, he said, adding: The Trump administration is trying to change the [Democrats’ lnarrative]. They’re trying to distract attention. Here’s where they should put their facts: they should put it before the court. They should put up or shut up in court [under] Judge Xinis, who’s the...

Elite universities push for federal funding while ignoring legal and ethical obligations, fueling public distrust as they prioritize ideology over academic rigor and free speech. Harvard has refused to accept the orders of a Trump administration commission concerning its chronic problems with anti-Semitism, campus violence, and racial tribalism, bias, and segregation. Yet, unlike some conservative campuses that distrust an overbearing Washington, Harvard and most elite schools like it want it both ways. They do as they please on their own turf and yet still demand that the taxpayers send them multibillion-dollar checks in addition to their multibillion-dollar private incomes. Aside...

Attorneys general representing 23 states have joined forces in opposition to Chicago and Illinois “sanctuary” laws that prohibit local law enforcement officers from helping with the enforcement of federal immigration statutes. In an amicus brief filed in support of the federal government’s lawsuit against the city and state, the group argues that Illinois and Chicago are causing harm to their states by obstructing the enforcement of immigration law. “The national immigration crisis has rendered ‘every state … a border state,’” Ohio Solicitor General T. Elliot Gaiser wrote in a letter signed by 22 colleagues, including attorneys general from Indiana, Missouri,...

During a recent interview that aired on CSPAN, conservative commentator Ann Coulter applauded the early days of Donald Trump’s second presidency and contrasted it with his first term. According to the long-time conservative icon, Trump’s loss in 2020 may have been the inspiration for the improvements made since his first presidency. “I can’t believe how great Trump is,” Coulter declared. “If you’ve followed my work assiduously, you know I campaigned with Trump when he was running in 2016. He did ask for a copy of my book, ‘Adios America.’ A lot of the immigration stuff came from that. Huge fan....
