Lawfare on Steroids – SCOTUS Orders Trump to Stop Deporting Illegal Alien Gang Members, Judge Alito Eviscerates High Court for Judicial Despotism
The Conservative Treehouse - The Last Refuge ^ | April 20, 2025 | Sundance

At 1:00am on Saturday, the Supreme Court of the USA issued an injunction [SEE HERE] blocking President Trump from deporting illegal aliens identified under the Alien Enemies Act.  It was/is a bizarre order considering the lower court had not even ruled on the matter; worse yet, the Supreme Court created an imaginary “class” of aliens.

Any illegal alien who happens to also be a gang member, or illegal alien who would ‘smartly’ now claim to be a gang member, is ultimately the beneficiary of a Supreme Court order blocking their removal or deportation.  That’s how judicially insane this injunction is.

As outlined in the original injunction order, Justice Alito issued a blistering dissent, calling out seven of the justices who affirmed the order. [SEE HERE]

An incredulous Alito concludes with the following paragraph:

[SOURCE]

The Trump administration has already filed a response, hitting on several of the key legal contradictions that are outlined by Alito in his dissent. [SEE HERE]

The bottom line appears to be the ACLU ran to the Supreme Court less than an hour after filing a responsive motion with the court of jurisdiction, solely on the false premise that some illegal alien member within the removal order process of deportation, might be removed.  The Supreme Court bought the argument, created an entire class of deportees under the auspices of gang membership, and blocked President Trump from deporting anyone who might be a gang member, while the illegal aliens argue about their non-gang status.

Madness; all of it.

Shut Venezuela (or whatever nation state such illegals belong to) down with sanctions and tariffs and offer them
relief when they come with planes and demand the return of their citizens.

What argument could possibly be made denying the leader of a foreign nation demanding extradition of their citizens in the US to face their crimes in their home country?

It becomes an extradition case, not an undesirable alien expulsion case at that point.

I wish Trump had the balls to give the courts the finger. Go ahead and stop me. Biden already did it. Why isn’t that precedence?

As I’ve said before, the Courts (including SCOTUS), seem to have decided there is a “Trump exception” to the Constitution, all laws, legal procedure, and legal precedents.

Do you think these Justices would have ruled the same way against any other Presidential administration? Of course not. They wouldn’t and they haven’t. U.S. v. Arizona is a prime example. You can read the case here:

https://www.law.cornell.edu/supremecourt/text/11-182

Congress is too busy scheduling their next vacation or falling back on the “let the process play out” narrative they fell back on in Trump’s first administration. They have tools available to rein in these Courts but refuse to do so.

SCOTUS has oral arguments at 10:00 tomorrow morning. Let’s see if Roberts takes the opportunity and has the b*lls to correct the errors the Court made over the weekend.

BTW, The case to be heard tomorrow is Kennedy v. Braidwood Management. The issue(s): Whether the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit erred in holding that the structure of the U.S. Preventive Services Task Force violates the Constitution’s appointments clause and in declining to sever the statutory provision that it found to unduly insulate the task force from the Health & Human Services secretary’s supervision.

In this case, Braidwood Management, Christian owned businesses and six individuals in Texas, have challenged the Affordable Care Act’s (ACA) requirement to cover preventive services.

“I wish Trump had the balls to give the courts the finger. Go ahead and stop me. Biden already did it. Why isn’t that precedence?”

Trump doesn’t do very many things for which he doesn’t have the backing of the people.

This is the next up of many lessons previous and to come.

The people need to visualize everything. All they get is media. They don’t think quickly enough. They are mind numbed

This is a lesson in how the judiciary all the way up to the USSC is corrupted to not care about the welfare of the American people

Trump is humble enough to absorb the heat of people, even as informed as Ann coulter, yelling at him to do something. Coulter is now very much with Trump but with zero introspection about how wrong she was during the stand down, the Biden admin, when we all learned what the liberals were willing to do

We think the courts are different. We think the media is independent. And the govt agencies

They are not. Trump knows this. He just needs the backing of the people who still trust the ussc.

We have lost touch with what their role should be

The court never stood in the way of Obama nor Clinton’s rulings on deportations. Why not. What’s the difference?

Weird that Gorsuch and Kavanaugh went along with the ruling. The others don’t surprise me much.

Just declare a state of war with Venezuela and deport every single Venezuelan who is not a naturalized citizen.

Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952

Section 212(f)

"Whenever the President finds that the entry of any aliens or of any class of aliens into the United States would be detrimental to the interests of the United States, he may by proclamation, and for such period as he shall deem necessary, suspend the entry of all aliens or any class of aliens as immigrants or nonimmigrants, or impose on the entry of aliens any restrictions he may deem to be appropriate."

Oh, it gets worse.

This is on Yahoo news tonight:

As legal fight raged, ICE buses filled with Venezuelans heading toward airport turned around, video shows

Video from Friday night shows Immigration and Customs Enforcement buses full of Venezuelan migrants headed toward an airport in North Texas and abruptly turning around before the Supreme Court ruled the Trump administration must, for now, refrain from deporting Venezuelan men based in the state under the Alien Enemies Act.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/legal-fight-raged-ice-buses-115835383.html?.tsrc=daily_mail&segment_id=DY_VTO_CLICKER_CONTROL_SINK&ncid=crm_19907-1202927-20250420-0-&bt_ee=fhepNnvd20l4a48Dqh4Sb1KKR%2B3%2FVpfoqjv3%2FsPRAz8%3D&bt_ts=1745188658510

Absolutely infuriating.

Trump needs to do what Biden did -ignore Supreme Court rulings and continue deporting violent gang members. Let the court send out their marshals to enforce their rulings.
