WASHINGTON, Jan. 6, 2006 – Two Army divisions are preparing for a transfer of responsibility in Baghdad tomorrow, and the search for an unmanned aerial vehicle near Mosul has been suspended, military officials said. NEW DELHI: India’s defence and interior ministries were investigating how 100 tonnes of explosives went missing from a merchant navy ship bound for Iran, officials said on Wednesday. The six missing containers of explosives were intended for road construction in Afghanistan where India’s Border Road Organisation was constructing a highway. An Amber Alert has been issued for a Spartanburg girl last seen at 7 a.m. this morning. The girl, 10-year-old Tylameka Chantell Hines is believed to have been abducted by 16-year-old Keonta Lavale Hines. Both girls were last seen at 114 W. Corley St., Spartanburg. Police are looking for a burgundy 1997 Grand Prix with a license plate of 890 MPG and an American flag on the trunk. NEW YORK: Huge amounts of high-tech explosives, including 67 kgs of commerical plastic explosives, which could be used to make numerous bombs, have been stolen from a private storage facility in the southwestern US state of New Mexico, officials said on Tuesday. Dec. 19, 2005 — About 400 pounds of explosive material was stolen from a research facility in New Mexico, the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives confirmed today. The theft was discovered Sunday night by local authorities.
