The antis had an announcement published in the Modesto Bee early in the week that they were going to protest the war at the local Armed Forces Recruiting Station today. Their announced time was noon to 1:30 pm. Several folks in the community, including one of the local VFW chapters and this reporter saw this as a slap in the face to our military.
