While listening to the Pat Gray show this morning (11 March 2003) on KPRC (950-AM, Houston), he mentioned that there will be a Pro-America Rally in The Woodlands, TX on Saturday, 15 March 2003. This rally was also announced on the Chris Baker show during his afternoon show.
Based on the radio announcements and some e-mail correspondence, this is the latest information I have.
Location: North Shore Park, The Woodlands, TX
Date: Saturday, 15 March 2003
Time: 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
Keynote Speaker: Kevin Brady, U.S. Congressman (8th-TX)
I suspect that Pat Gray and/or Chris Baker will mention this rally later in the week. Information is still being gathered regarding this event. As new information is known, it will be posted on this thread. Since this is not a KPRC event, the information is second-hand at the moment, but this looks like another chance to show support for our troops, our country, and our President.

Don't know. I think it is a doctor who lives in The Woodlands. The rally was mentioned on KPRC on both the Pat Gray and Chris Baker shows. E-mails to KPRC has confirmed this, but I don't think they know any more than we do, since KPRC is not a sponsor of this event.
Looking for more info. This was a surprise to me when I found out this morning. Will update thread as more is known.

Let's find out the name of the Doctor if possible, contact him, make him aware of our net working skills, ect, and maybe he will allow us to assist him in getting the word out about the rally, and of course Freerepublic.

Northshore Park is on 2505 Lake Woodlands Drive in The Woodlands.
For those who are not familiar with getting around The Woodlands, here are directions for getting to Northshore Park:
From either Interstate 45 North or South:
1) Take the Woodlands Parkway exit (Exit 76 I believe).
2) Go straight for about a mile, then turn right on Grogan's Mill Road.
3) Turn left on Lake Woodlands Drive. You will be going on a bridge over Lake Woodlands.
4) Turn left at Northshore Park.

Right on. I'm actually here in The Woodlands for Spring Break. I might just have to swing by and display some good old fashioned patriotism.
Keep rolling FReepers!

God Bless ya'll. I can't make it to the rally, but would love to have some signs and bumper stickers for an antique show going on in Bellville. Any way to get some over there?

I wish I could go. I used to go to church in The Woodlands. Unfortunately, the 2000 mi commute would kill me.
I hope there will be pictures later.
Shalom.
