Pictures of the event were posted on the Hazard High School Athletics Facebook page....

SUNLAND PARK, N.M. — A mayoral candidate in a New Mexico border town says video of a topless woman dancing in his office is a setup orchestrated by political rivals who wanted to force him out of the race. Gerardo Hernandez's claim of dirty politics is the latest scandal to rock Sunland Park, a city seen as so tainted that a House representative has called for a state takeover. Hernandez told KVIA-TV this week that he was in his office with his campaign manager and a job applicant when an unidentified woman began to dance for the three of them,...

Associate Justice John C. Egan Jr. wrote a nine-page ruling that cited numerous elements of tax case law and went into exhaustive detail defining aspects such as dramatic or musical arts, choreography and whether Nite Moves qualified as a "place of amusement." "Hence, the issue distills to whether the club's admission and private dance fees constitute charges for admission to a 'live dramatic, choreographic or musical performance,'" he wrote. The club sought expert testimony from a cultural anthropologist who researched the field of exotic dance, visited the club and reviewed the dances depicted on the Nite Moves DVD. She offered...

Catholic high school graduates hoping to continue their education in institutions of higher learning affiliated with the Mother Church might be surprised by what they find. “University of Detroit Mercy, a Catholic college, is coming under criticism for hosting pro-abortion censured theologian Daniel Maguire, who delivered a lecture at the Jesuit University on April 7,” Steve Ertelt reported on lifenews.com April 13, 2011. “The title of his lecture was ‘The Gender Justice Revolution: How Feminism Builds Bridges Between Genders, Races, Sexual Orientations, Classes and Nations,’ and it’s not a surprising one given his position in favor of abortion.” The Cardinal...

The kids are calling it “Two Teachers, One Chair,” and it has all the makings of a YouTube hit. But school administrators and parents are hard pressed to find humour in a graphic lap dance caught on video between two teachers at a spirit rally at Churchill High School in Winnipeg last week.

Twenty women took off their clothes on Wednesday to make the world a better place. And one of them did an X-rated dance in stiletto heels with a giant stuffed dog, because it was the right thing to do for the children of San Francisco. "I'm a good person, even though I don't wear very much to work,'' said Debbie Licious, the woman who danced with the dog. "I'm a dancer. I don't need to wear a business suit to do the right thing.'' Debbie Licious may not be her real name, she said, but the $10 bills that customers...

Tampa, Florida (AP) — County records show Hillsborough County officers spent more than $6,000 for 92 lap dances, drinks and tips in an investigation into nudity and liquor law violations at an adult bikini bar. The investigation spanned more than two years. Sheriff David Gee says sometimes that's what it takes to get rid of problems. Gee says vice detectives first targeted Lil Tootsie's nightclub after deputies responded to numerous calls ranging from violence to DUI arrests. The agency recently asked county commissioners to revoke the club's special permit to serve alcohol. Records show sheriff's detectives sought 41 misdemeanor nudity...

IT'S happened again. Another innocent man who just wanted a few lap dances claims to have been victimized by an exclusive New York strip club, Scores. This time it's an executive from Missouri named Robert McCormick, who, treating himself and friends, ran up a $241,000 bill at Scores on his corporate American Express card two years ago. American Express is now suing him for refusing to pay up. Several other unhappy customers have also sued Scores over large bills.

Last night, even while suffering the ravages of the virus that has overtaken my body, even though I am still here in the process of fighting these ravages, I was diligently preparing for this program. And I ran across what I think is the first written lap dance I have ever encountered. It is a Tina Brown column in the Washington Post. The biggest lap dance ever written is about Bill Clinton. I know lap dances used to be free in the Oval Office, but the guy's gotta get some money somewhere, he's giving away his food and booze,...

A new state law banning seminude lap dances at Missouri strip clubs was declared unconstitutional by a judge Friday, two days before it was to go into effect. Cole County Circuit Judge Richard Callahan said provisions of the law violate First Amendment protections and state constitutional limits on amending a bill beyond its original purpose. "The state may not limit persons of majority age from engaging in lawful expressive conduct protected by the 1st Amendment of the United States Constitution without a substantial and direct connection to adverse secondary effects, a showing that has not been made," Callahan said in...

A Texas appeals court has reinstated a lawsuit against several Houston strip clubs based on claims the clubs overcharged patrons for lap dances when the men paid using credit cards instead of cash. Paul Brian Meekey and Michael Fulmer brought the lawsuit after they were allegedly charged $25 for $20 lap dances because they paid with plastic. "Texas law is pretty clear that you cannot charge someone extra for using a credit card," said Sandra Krider, one of Meekey and Fulmer’s lawyers. "The fact that they are strip clubs shouldn’t mean they get away with it." But the ruling could...

Las Vegas law prohibiting strippers from fondling customers during lap dances is unconstitutionally vague, a judge ruled....Friday's ruling affects only dancers within city limits. The Clark County Commission in 2002 limited touching between strippers and patrons during private lap dances, specifically barring strippers from touching or sitting on the customer's genital area. But the municipal code was not as specific, saying only that strippers and their patrons should not "fondle" or "caress" each other.

SANTA CRUZ — A threatening phone call from a man who refused to identify himself caused downtown lingerie store Camouflage to nix pole dancing behind a covered window Friday and tonight. The Pacific Avenue store was the target of public criticism this week after announcing plans for erotic dancers dressed in Santa Claus-themed outfits to dance on a pole in the store window as part of a holiday promotion. Lap dances for customers who spent $100 were also part of the original idea, however, store owner Joan Levine modified the plans after city officials complained and agreed to cover the...

SANTA CRUZ — The show will go on — just not for people walking down Pacific Avenue to see. The downtown lingerie and adult-products store Camouflage still plans to stage erotic dancers wearing Santa Claus-themed outfits, but you won’t be able to see them through the front window, as originally advertised. And the lap dances also promoted will be moved inside the store. Most of the store’s front window will be covered by butcher paper. Store owner Joan Levine changed her plans after being leaned on by city officials and hearing complaints from the public. "It’s really the same thing...

CHAMPAGNE and the undivided attention of lap dancers do not come cheap. But Mitchell Blaser, 53, an insurance executive, was not expecting a $US28,000 ($40,500) hangover after one night at Scores, a Manhattan club popular with celebrities who prefer their women topless. The club claims Mr Blaser and his two companions partied as hard as party animal actor Colin Farrell, buying five bottles of champagne at $US3200 a pop and spending $US7000 on $US20 lap dances. Mr Blaser tells a different story in a lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court. The chief financial officer of insurance giant Swiss Re's American...

The stripper accused of squirting breast milk into a patron's face at a downtown club plans to pursue sexual-assault charges, adding a twist to the already-bizarre case. The Jackson woman denied the customer's account of the widely publicized July 25 incident at The School House and said the man grabbed her breast, according to the police report, obtained Friday through a Freedom of Information Act request. "This is a problem you get into with these types of incidents," Jackson Deputy Police Chief Matt Heins said. "You have the victim's story and you have the suspect's story. "It comes down to...

Florida Resident Charged With Aggravated Assault Posted: 4:35 p.m. EDT August 3, 2002 NEW SMYRNA BEACH, Fla. -- Police say a man who was dissatisfied with a lap dance at an adult club tried to run down the club manager with his pickup truck. He then threatened him with a shotgun. Early Friday, employees at the Bottom's Up Club refused to give 53-year-old James Kennedy Burdine his money back. Police say Burdine confronted manager Phillip Robinson of Ormond Beach, who ordered him to leave. Burdine got into his pickup and drove toward Robinson, stopping just feet from the building.
