SUNLAND PARK, N.M.
A mayoral candidate in a New Mexico border town says video of a topless woman dancing in his office is a setup orchestrated by political rivals who wanted to force him out of the race.
Gerardo Hernandez's claim of dirty politics is the latest scandal to rock Sunland Park, a city seen as so tainted that a House representative has called for a state takeover.
Hernandez told KVIA-TV this week that he was in his office with his campaign manager and a job applicant when an unidentified woman began to dance for the three of them, topless. And all the while, Hernandez says, he was being taped without his knowledge
"She started dancing, and she was suggestive," said Hernandez, who claimed the woman was a guest of the man he was considering hiring.

Why doesnt this happen to me?
thats not nice....
It’s a town of 14k residents. Figure 8k voters. And it might disturb 3k of them. The pro-topless dancer folks in town would be asking who it was and if she was a decent dancer.
I would probably vote for the dancer.
I think we need to see the video in order to determine guilt or innocence.
Hope this doesn’t give Romney any ideas.
Since the article is void of party affiliation, I am just going to assume it was a Dem attempt to smear a Republican candidate. Correct me if I am wrong.
“If only she could stimulate the economy....$1 at a time.”
If she were running for office I would gladly contribute to her campaign... $1 at a time.
I cannot find out from what Ive read but I’d bet they are all Democrats
Question is: Just how long before they discoved that fact?
So only until they found they were being videotaped did they object? Oh my!. ROFL.
Did he tip her?
Just lost my lunch. Thanks.
So, do you hire this guy or not?

Could be. I have seen them destroy their own before.
