CAPE CANAVERAL-- There was no "dirty trick" behind the photographs of Sen. John Kerry wearing the blue anti-contamination suit while touring the shuttle Discovery on Monday.

Not true, said NASA. Government photographers routinely snap pictures of visiting dignitaries.

Kerry's group more than qualified as dignitaries: four U.S. senators, two of whom were former astronauts, John Glenn and Bill Nelson. NASA often posts such pictures on its Internet sites for the public and reporters.

If you remember the story, Kerry did not want to be seen carrying the dead goose he shot in the photo op. So while exiting the field he had a birdboy run on up ahead out of the camera shot carrying the goose. When asked, he said each hunter shot one, but in all pictures, he is the only one not shown carrying a dead goose. Duckhunters on the website the Duckhunter's Refuge pointed out this was a violation of federal law, it involved not "maintaining field possession" of the game. When this question arose, I emailed the head waterfowl...

I just can’t believe Kerry had a photo op with President Reagan’s casket. I have tried very hard not to get political with the memorial services of Reagan, but Drudge report is running a story about the words kerry used to describe Reagan and is also showing a picture of kerry leaving the viewing of Reagan’s casket. It just bothers me! Sorry. Kerry said of Reagan, “Moral Darkness”, that was how he described Reagan’s leadership. Now he is having his campaign photo op next to his casket. Sick, Sick, Sick. Also, his supporters are protest along the route Reagan’s body...

Ye shall find him under a big star: (OK, that one’s a stretch, but I’m working on a theme…) Crucified with two common criminals by his side: (Stretch #2) (Well, since this photo was taken in Zaprudervision, it might be a JFK thing, but that’s the same as God to the liberal mindset.)

Sen. John "Bunny Suit" Kerry has a Dukakis-like knack for unfortunate photo opportunities. Did you see the footage of him crossing Lake Michigan on a ferry and imitating know-nothing Democrat activist Leonardo DiCaprio in the "I'm the king of the world" moment from "Titanic"? Fox News Channel newscaster Carl Cameron this morning made a quick observation on whether it was advisable to recreate a scene from the world's most famous doomed ship. Senator, just because you're treading water and starting to sink doesn't mean ... oh, maybe it does.

The campaign of Sen. John Kerry yesterday accused NASA of leaking a widely circulated photo that shows the candidate wrapped from top to bottom in a baby blue "bunny suit," implying that it was a "dirty trick." One campaign official told The Washington Times last night: "All I can say is it was not an authorized release." But the National Aeronautics and Space Administration told Fox News that the Kerry team saw the photos before publication and passed on their release. A NASA spokesman told the top-rated cable network that the images were given to the Kerry campaign to review before several...
