The Washington Post is celebrating a man from the African country of Mauritania who is helping more poor Muslim migrants crowd into Cincinnati apartments and houses, straining the town’s resources and apparently breaking occupancy laws. Even this man, who is working to facilitate the flood of illegals into the U.S., says that the federal government is just letting too many people come to the U.S. all at once. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s exasperated complaint about the slow pace of an invitation for his country to join NATO, delivered as the annual NATO summit began in Vilnius, Lithuania, may have actually moved the process backward by alienating the United States and allied leaders, the Washington Post claimed this week, citing unnamed sources. Zelensky on Tuesday called it “unprecedented and absurd” for NATO to speak vaguely about inviting Ukraine to join without setting a time frame and to add “conditions” by demanding political reforms not demanded of the two newest alliance members, Finland and Sweden.

We request President Obama rescind his invitation to the Gangnam Style rapper PSY to perform for him at the Christmas in Washington celebration this month because of the rapper's vicious anti-American song lyrics. In 2004, PSY reportedly performed a song entitled, Dear America, that contained the following lyrics (profanity edited): "Kill those f***ing Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives Kill those f***ing Yankees who ordered them to torture Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law, and fathers Kill them all slowly and painfully " As commander-in-chief, how can Pres. Obama honor someone who calls for killing our troops and their families?

In a move that ramps up a high profile battle of words over the state budget, the California State Republican Party has formally issued an invitation to Gov. Jerry Brown to "come out from your office picnic table" and attend the party's upcoming state convention in Sacramento -- to debate anti-tax advocate Grover Norquist. We just got hold of the letter being delivered to Brown's office from state party chair Ron Nehring, who says Americans for Tax Reform President Norquist has already agreed to debate the governor, if it can be arranged at the three day state GOP convention scheduled...

President Barack Obama and First Lady Michelle have not been invited to Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding. The Queen personally invited 40 heads of state, who received the gold-embossed invitations over the weekend to the April 29 wedding of the future king. The Obamas, however, were not among them. But they can take solace in the knowledge that they will be the guests of their very own state visit to the UK in May. There have been suggestions that the state visit – the first for a US President since 2003 – was set up in return for Obama...

Bringing our fallen-away relations back to Church during Advent REV. JOHN HORGAN Each Christmas, our churches are thronged with people who come to pray before the Manger, join in the singing of carols, and feel the warmth of the Saviour's love. Some of these men and women are not Catholic; others do not practice the Faith regularly. Some are estranged from the Church, angry at her teachings, hurt by her representatives; a larger number simply live their lives as if the Church had no place in their world, no bearing on their lifestyles, careers, and choices. . . except...

Last week their cousin, Izzi-Din Hassan al-Majid, who lives in exile in Leeds, told a newspaper that the sisters wanted to apply for asylum in Britain. Making...
