It’s almost time for the first anniversary of the massacre in Sandy Hook. Naturally the Obama-run state media will be giving it round-the-clock coverage. Barack’s servile sycophants in the mainstream media will do anything to keep the low-information voters’ attention diverted from how they’re getting blued and tattooed by Dear Leader. As the common nightwalkers of the press get ready for their latest anti-gun crusade, let’s not forget who’s co-sponsoring the TV spots — Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG). This organization was founded by two mayors who are now lame ducks, one of whom is Mumbles Menino. The money guy...

At a pro-gun-control rally in Ohio, the organizers quickly found themselves outnumbered by gun rights activists - to the point that if a passerby didn't know what they were looking at, they may have sworn it was a pro-gun rally. "As a gun owner, I'm a responsible person and I think it's responsible to ask to have all gun owners have a background check," said Blanche Luczyk. "It's just common sense. Any responsible person who is...

Cosgaya-Alvarez bought a .40-caliber handgun on the street in downtown Kent from an illegal dealer, court documents say. Less than two weeks later, Cosgaya-Alvarez, a self-proclaimed gang member, fired a single shot from that gun to kill a man he argued with outside a Federal Way school, according to documents used to charge him with murder. The shooting underscored a persistent problem of juveniles using guns in crime: The weapons are simple to get and cheap. They are for sale not just on...

The United States has an obligation to help work toward stemming the flow of illegal guns into this country, Prime Minister Paul Martin said Monday. Speaking with reporters in Ottawa, Mr. Martin said the gun issue will be among those on the agenda — alongside softwood lumber and passport requirements — when he meets with U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice. Ms. Rice is in Ottawa on Monday and Tuesday for meetings with Canadian officials. It is her first official visit to this country. A visit in April was cancelled, reportedly because of Canada's decision not to participate in the...
